Highly rare, only 300 are available worldwide. Available from Harrods

The cuvées of Armand de Brignac are crafted by the Cattier family, 13th generation champagne growers, in the village of Rilly- la-Montagne in the Montagne de Reims. Led today by patriarch, Jean-Jacques and his son, Alexandre, the Cattiers have owned and cultivated family vineyards since 1763. Drawing on more than 250 years of experience in the region, it was their goal to attain a level of quality they had never achieved before. Aiming to break conventions, the Cattiers introduced these prestige champagnes in the now iconic metalized bottles with French pewter labeling – unique to any other tête de cuvêe in the world.

The first bottles of Champagne Armand de Brignac left the cellars in France in 2006.

Intense Attention To Detail. Each step in the creation of a bottle of Armand de Brignac – from harvest, to pressing, riddling, disgorging and labeling – is handled by a team of just 18 people. The finest grapes are selected from the most emblematic villages of the Champagne region, including Avize, Verzenay, Bouzy, Rilly la Montagne, Chigny-les-Roses and Ludes.

Without the pressures of volume production and with the continued goal for only the highest quality, Armand de Brignac is exceedingly selective with juice extraction from the handpicked fruit. Only the very first portion of the cuvée press is taken, to ensure pristine juice with freshest flavor and highest acidity. Then the father-and-son team pay tribute to the region’s historic hallmark – the art of blending – to create the perfect assemblage.

A Trio Of Vintages

Each Armand de Brignac cuvée is a blend of three distinct vintages, allowing for more layers of complexity, richness and nuances of aromas than a comparable single vintage wine. This trio multi-vintage blend approach, is a signature of Armand de Brignac. Once complete, the bottles are aged in the Cattier family’s historic cellars, which are among the deepest in the Champagne region at almost 100 feet below ground, allowing for the most stable temperature needed for aging.

Unique Dosage

The unique character of Armand de Brignac is further exemplified by the added dosage, made from a blend of the very best still wines from prior harvests and aged for a full year in neutral French oak barrels. This final winemaking signature imparts subtle toasty character to the Champagnes.

Finished By Hand

The iconic bottles are dressed with a unique metal coating and each one is finished by hand; polished, fitted with four French pewter labels and placed in a wooden lacquered box.
