The taste can be described as a deconstructed Old Fashioned, as the coffee and cacao notes from the rich and complex rum, perfectly match the delicious citrus and bittersweet Venezuelan chocolate orange segments. The texture is creamy smooth, and the finish is long and nostalgic with a balanced and gentle bittersweet aftertaste. The addition of essential oil of orange and mandarin adds a delicate nonacidic fruity flavour with enough room for the complexities of the rum to shine through. How To Create Your 2019 Experience
Remove your unique Diplomático Reserva Exclusiva rum and bespoke Paul A. Young chocolates from the box. Next, transform the fully recyclable packaging to reveal your serving tray. Fold both sides of the box lid underneath the tray to create the ‘legs’ of your serving platform. Your exclusive gifts can then be displayed on top of the tray. Provide glasses, good company and embrace a new and unique tasting experience.

I love to experiment with flavours and produce original, experimental combinations that are daring, but always perfectly balanced. Immediately I decided to use 72% Venezuelan chocolate to echo the provenance of the rum. Adding delicate notes of orange and mandarin then allows enough room for the complexities of the rum to shine through.
