Firmdale Hotels Launch Firmdale Food at Home
Recipe boxes and afternoon tea with a difference.
Firmdale Hotels has just launched ‘Firmdale Food at Home’, a selection of set menu recipe boxes and afternoon teas with a difference.
Delivered to the doorstep the luxury boxes will bring a little piece of Firmdale directly from the kitchen at Ham Yard Restaurant. Group Executive Head Chef, Robin Read has carefully selected popular dishes, partially preparing them and creating recipe boxes ready for recipients to finish off and cook at their leisure.
Bringing Ham Yard Hotel’s renowned Afternoon Tea into the home, the boxes include a selection of finger sandwiches, savouries and sweet treats, available for delivery throughout the weekend. Enjoy tomato arancini and chorizo sausage rolls, homemade scones with clotted cream plus preserves and a selection of cakes, including lemon drizzle and raspberry Bakewell tart. Celebrate a special occasion with the Champagne Afternoon Tea or bring Firmdale’s signature style to the table with the Sailor’s Farewell Afternoon Tea, complete with Kit Kemp’s beautifully designed Wedgwood teapot, two teacups and saucers.
To complete the Firmdale experience there is the option to add wine recommendations to perfectly match the meal, or a box of six pre-made cocktails and pre-dinner aperitifs of choice, from Old Fashioneds and Negronis to a Spring Paloma and the Ham Yard pink gin-based Summer nights.
Including all necessary ingredients expertly prepared and ready to go, each box is made up of the highest quality products using the very best British suppliers, the precise ingredients for zero food waste and a step-by-step guide to cooking and serving.

The Afternoon Tea
Tomato arancini, chorizo sausage rolls and finger sandwiches.
Fruit and plain homemade scones with clotted cream and preserves Lemon drizzle cake, chocolate tiffin, pistachio macaron and raspberry Bakewell tart. Mythical Creatures loose leaf tea.
Tricolore salad, Ox cheek ragù pappardelle and a rocket and Parmesan salad with balsamic dressing.
The Dinner Party
Lobster cocktail, Côte de boeuf with hand-cut chips and peppercorn sauce with heritage tomato, onion and basil salad.
Ham hock salad, Wild Rye Harbour Sea bass with pancetta and parsley risotto and a rocket and Parmesan salad with balsamic dressing.
Beef burger, relish, coleslaw and hand-cut chips.
The Weekend Brunch
Poached egg, crab and avocado on sourdough toast with a brioche loaf, raspberry jam and butter.
The Sharing Board
Selection of charcuterie meats from Beal’s Farm, 3 x 150 grams of chef’s selection cheeses, Guindilla chillies, cornichons, olives, seeded crackers, oatcakes and water biscuits.
The Family Roast
Rib of British beef – two bone, roast potatoes, roasted root vegetables, tender stem broccoli, cauliflower cheese, Yorkshire puddings, red wine sauce, cream of horseradish and an apple tarte Tatin.
