Hugs & Co. Create Shoes with a relaxed traditional style, effortlessly cool
Hugs and Co. creators of a definitive collection of luxury footwear.
The finest leathers and materials are brought together in driving loafers and Chelsea boots along with carefully selected classically styled and timelessly elegant pieces. Splashes of colour and iridescence add a playful twist to the collections for men and women.
Hugs & Co. believe in taking traditional footwear and giving it a more relaxed design. That’s why they started a range based around the driving shoe one of the most versatile designs out there. Built on a moccasin construction the driving loafer is the original hybrid shoe that twists a classic look with a comfortable build. Your Hugs & Co. driving loafers can be worn in so many different situations they feel they are one of the main go-to styles of footwear. The style transitions easily from the beach to the city whilst the exposed studded sole delivers unbeatable comfort by allowing the shoe to bend as you walk.
The Hugs & Co. range has expanded into Chelsea boots and formal loafers all made with the traditional Goodyear welt technique. These offer a pair of shoes that will last for years to come. There are also the Hugs & Co. sneaker loafers juxtaposed between formal and casual.
The women’s collection features several takes on the classic driving loafer. These include the Hugs & Co. Navajo inspired fringed loafers. The soft insoles, natural leather linings, beautiful Italian suedes and hand stitching processes come together to create highly enviable pieces of footwear.
All the components are sourced from suppliers in Europe and the construction of each pair takes place in Portugal. Plenty of time is dedicated to personally selecting the best leathers in the perfect colours ensuring a product that is not only beautifully crafted but comfortable and long-lasting.
Hugs & Co. was established in 2012 by brothers Benjie and Hugo Davis and is based in London. The brand and the company came about through the Davis brothers’ shared passion for design and creativity. Benjie had studied Architecture and Hugo Business, between them the project unfolded into what is now a popular luxury footwear brand with a versatile collection of styles.
