Indulge in a Four Course Charity Dinner on 5th October at The Bingham, Richmond

Don’t miss The Bingham in Richmond’s special Charity Supper with guest chefs Paul Merrett and Eric Guignard on Wednesday 5th October from 7pm.
The stunning riverside restaurant, bar and hotel will play host to a special charity dinner in aid of 2nd Chance as the evening’s guest chefs, along with The Bingham’s General Manager Erick Kervaon and fellow founders of AIR Hospitality put 2nd Chance trainees through their paces to serve up a fabulous four-course seasonal menu.
Diners will be treated to a starter of Beetroot & London Gin-cured Salmon Gravlax with Celeriac Remoulade, Quail’s Egg, Shaved Fennel and Beetroot Gel, followed by a fish course of Hake roasted in Serrano Ham served with Smoked Chorizo Risotto, Chargrilled Purple Sprouting Broccoli and Shellfish Bisque. A main dish of Slow-cooked Breast of Guinea Fowl with Shallot Purée, Beans wrapped in Pancetta, Fondant Potato, and Truffle Jus will be served before a delicious dessert of Spiced Almond & Poppy Seed Cake with Greek Yoghurt, Lemon Grass Sorbet and Roasted Fig.
In the run-up to the sumptuous charity supper, the trainees will be join the Bingham team to undertake training, refining their skills for the gastronomic feast which will be served in the sumptuous setting of the lovingly restored Georgian townhouse which sits on the picturesque banks of the Thames.
2nd Chance is a specialist ‘education to employment’ training course created to support unemployed 18-24 year olds on their journey to a career, with the money raised from the evening going towards funding for 2nd chance training placements,while AIR which launched in 2015 is a members-only support network for owners and operators of independent, hospitality businesses, giving young adults a second chance and an opportunity to learn and develop their skills.
The four course dinner costs £40pp including pairings with some well chosen wines from the Bingham’s vast wine cellar.
