LONDON BROGUES – The home of the British Brogue

By applying over 30 years of industry knowledge, London Brogues combines the best materials with smart production methods to create high-quality, stylish, and comfortable shoes and boots which help wearers to instantly elevate their look whether at the office, in the pub, or at a wedding.

Each season keeps the classic brogue style at its heart, combining this quintessential footwear with contemporary fabrics and colours which bring a modern twist to a timeless menswear staple. By adding quality touches such as leather soles and linings, as well as being available up to size 15 and with wide fit where possible, the brand is building a loyal following – and with the most expensive pair being £120, it’s no surprise.

London Brogues was founded in 2014 and is headed up by Derek Moore; Derek has over 30 years of experience in the footwear industry and a passion for creating high quality items that don’t break the bank. This means that the highest standards are expected throughout the London Brogues process, from the initial design to the delivery of the products. This dedication to quality delivers classic British style to discerning customers, without costing a fortune.

Derek’s daughters Jemma and Ana help bring this mission to life, with Jemma in accounts and Ana in marketing and customer service – not forgetting Clive the black Labrador, who even has a shoe named after him in the Spring 2019 collection.

London Brogues’ newest collection is its boldest and most contemporary to date, building on its core range of traditional oxford brogues, monk shoes, loafers, and boots. For those who like to make a statement, the suede Harry loafer and Clive oxford come in a variety of colours including sky blue, stone grey, navy and bordo, making them the ideal choice for grooms or those who want to add a pop of personality to their outfit.

As well as a wider colour choice, a variety of styles feature casual trainer-like soles rather than the traditional resin sole. This makes them ideal for leisure time and will appeal to the brand’s growing young demographic.

London Brogues’ more casual styles include the leather laced Cooper brogue in black or tan and the Healey in charcoal or khaki, the most informal out of the collection with its fabric upper and sporty sole, making it perfect for pairing with jeans or shorts. The Winston also has a casual, comfortable sole which instantly updates the classic oxford; either in all leather or with fabric or tweed features. The all-leather, laced Miller shoe in chestnut or navy, is both smart and casual thanks to its sporty sole.

The Louis, complete with tassel and mix of leather and suede upper, adds an edge to the summer look – perfect to pair with chinos or a casual suit in the warmer months. Alternatively, take your summer look one step further with the Palmer – London Brogues’ first ever flip flop featuring broguing on the leather thong.

The ‘out of office’ trend – formal wear that is worn outside of work – is a step away from the prominence of athleisure and ideal for a summer wardrobe. London Brogues’ boot collection is great for those trend setters who want to keep it classy in and outside the boardroom. They add the perfect finishing touch to an outfit, whether you favour the simplicity of a classic Chelsea boot or something more unique such as a two-tone Gatsby.

Not only do the brand only sell high-quality shoes, but also luxury socks to help you complete your London Brogues look. Soft cotton-blend socks in fashionable designs and colours can really add a bit of personality to an outfit. London Brogues has a mixed set of socks as well as signature brogue style socks to compliment classic oxfords.

All London Brogues shoes come complete with a shoehorn, a shoe shiner and two shoe/dust bags.
