The launch of the Norwegian Joy cruise ship reiterates our strong commitment to the Asia-Pacific region, and is designed to be appealing to Asian guests,’ said Steve Odell, Senior Vice President and Managing Director Asia Pacific of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings (NCLH), which operates Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas brands.

Norwegian Joy is a 167,725-ton Breakaway Class vessel which was engineered at Meyer Werft in Germany and accommodates up to 3,883 guests.

This makes it the fourth largest cruise ship in the world.

Norwegian Joy offers what is possibly the most extensive range of restaurants ever offered on any cruise ship. With 28 different food and beverage outlets on board, guests can indulge in a wide variety of cuisines from Chinese hot pot, to sophisticated French haute cuisine, the freshest Japanese sushi to highest quality American steaks and burgers.

Guests will have endless entertainment options during their cruise experience. Norwegian Joy has launched the first ever racetrack at sea. The two-level competitive racetrack is located on the top deck of the ship, where guests may take rides in electric go-carts.
