Christmas gifts. Carol singers. Festive food. And a chance to meet not only Father Christmas but his reindeer too. Yes, you’ve guessed it, one of the West End’s most eagerly anticipated seasonal events,
Novikov’s Mayfair Christmas market, is back!

Decking the halls with boughs of holly, and a great deal more besides, Mayfair Place will once again be turned into a traffic-free winter wonderland from 11am until 9pm on Friday 30th November and Saturday 1st December.

With a myriad of hand-picked stalls selling gorgeous artisan gifts, from jewellery and clothing to handmade crafts and Christmas decorations, as well as an array of mouth- watering food and drink, this really is your one-stop shop for all things yuletide.

It really will be a wrap for your festive gift buying thanks to fabulous retailers such as Flo & Tilly, a new brand whose unique collection of bespoke parkas, denims and accessories has already created quite a stir.

My Little Wish will be offering ethical and environmentally friendly homeware and gifts, from stylish Scandinavian felt slippers to recycled rugs (each of which saves up to 3,000 plastic bottles from being tipped into the ocean!), whilst fans of jewellery label Olivia and Pearl will be thrilled to hear they will be returning with their baubles, bangles and beads.

A Small Shop in Africa will be showcasing its eclectic tableware, leather-trimmed kanga bags, wool & sisal baskets, engraved glass and accessories created by some of Kenya’s very finest artisans, empowering both women and communities in the process.

For anyone looking to sharpen their turkey carving skills, Blenheim Forge are bringing their hand-forged quality kitchen knives from Peckham to Mayfair. See for yourself how their products are a cut above the rest at the market’s tuna carving event, a fascinating spectacle that will take place on both days.

One thing’s for sure, no visitor here will go hungry. Along with the aforementioned sashimi, Cinco Jotas’ celebrated acorn-fed 100% Ibérico ham will be available to taste whilst Novikov kitchens will provide an abundance of Asian and Italian delicacies.

Shopping is thirsty work, but luckily the Louis Roederer Champagne Ice Bar, along with beer from Japanese brewery Asahi and reviving coffee and hot chocolate courtesy of TICCO, will all be making their presence felt.

A fabulous event for all the family, entrance to the Mayfair Christmas Market is free of charge.
