Introducing Santa Marina

Santa Marina Holiday Village is a beach-front resort the concept of which emphasizes on services and comfort. The famous King’s Beach is just underneath the resort, and the surrounding pine forests make the village even more cozy and pleasant to live in. The resort is a property development by one of Bulgaria’s most respected investment companies – FairPlay International (FPI). Santa Marina was awarded the 2014 FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Award and was pronounced as the World Golden Winner in the Resort Category. The prize is also known as the “Oscar of Real Estate”. Other awards include the Holiday Complex of the Year Prize for 2006, Best Sea Development Award for 2009, and Best Project in Bulgaria 2010 – Gold Medal at the Homes Overseas Russia Awards.

Santa Marina Holliday Village is situated in the heart of the Bulgarian Southern Black Sea coast, next to the ancient town of Sozopol. The incredible beauty of the surrounding nature and the breathtaking view of the Black Sea are just few of the advantages that this perfect location offers.

Marked by four distinct seasons, Southeast Bulgaria, including Sozopol, enjoys a generally favorable climate that is one of the region’s best features. Summers are typically hot and dry, but rarely oppressive, with moderate humidity. The sea breeze in summers makes the hot and dry weather very enjoyable. Spring and fall are warm and moderate and attract sunbathers from northern countries as well as others who prefer a quieter beach experience. The season starts in May and lasts up until early October. Winters are cold but not bitterly so.

The residential scheme includes 80 3- and 4-storey villas with apartments of various sizes. The villas are arranged in an amphitheatric manner along the bay providing for breathtaking sea views from most of the properties. 70% of the overall resort’s area of about 140,000 sq. m. is dedicated to gardens, park alley and green spots.

The Santa Marina villas are built with special construction materials that are perfectly suitable to the local climate and are a perfect combination of modern technology and traditional natural materials.

Santa Marina Holliday Village is built in the distinct architectural style of the Bulgarian 19th century National Revival period. In addition, for the exterior of the villas, we use 3 basic construction materials that are consistent with Sozopol’s architectural style: stones, white wall plaster and traditional wooden coating. Finally, the typical sloped red tile roofs give a charming finish to the villas.

The Resort

The 80 villas are spread across 6 quarters:

Apolonia – The oldest part of the resort, this area includes the first 15 which were built in the Santa Marina resort. It is situated around Pool 1 and hosts the Apolonia restaurant. All guests and residents have easy accesses to Reception and all the commercial services offered such as grocery, change bureau, the largest swimming pools in Santa Marina, etc.

Tennis Centre – Located in close proximity to Santa Marina’s Tennis Centre, these villas offer spectacular sea views. They are located at the highest points within the resort.

Situated around an authentic bunker from World War II, this area is very calm and artistic, with its own pool. If you want to get away from the kids, this is the place to come.

The heart of the Santa Marina resort is lively and offers pool 2, and Italian pizzeria, a Pastry shop, a learning center, a library, a kids’ playground and more.

Veranda – Located around the self-titled restaurant, this area is cozy and calm. Surrounded by large number of green areas and pine trees it is a great run away from the summer heat.

The newest part of the Santa Marina resort is built around a Mediterranean restaurant with stunning sea views. It includes a commercial zone which includes a supermarket, a clothing shop, a sport shop, the biggest SPA center in the resort and a lot more. It is located across the Marina Beach Bar and the its sandy beach.

Currently, Santa Marina Holiday Village has more than 1400 sold apartments, and 3 new villas under development with more properties for sale. There are 5 basic types of apartments: studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments and split-level mansard studios. All properties have terraces, most of which offer unforgettable sea views.
