Guests can return to their room where, on request, a Hermes bubble bath will be waiting. Each room features a gigantic bed, which is so comfy it will be impossible to get out of it the following morning, as well as in-room breakfast on request. Experience the Exclusive Valentine’s Day Menu at Wild Honey St James
Anthony Demetre and Head Chef, Simon Woodrow have put together a sumptuous Valentine’s menu that showcases the best of British seasonal produce and contemporary French cooking. Dishes include a Scottish hand-dived Scallops, seaweed butter and Italian cured pork cheek, followed by Grilled Rib of Scottish grass-fed beef, winter vegetables, bone marrow, red wine and bay leaf sauce, with hot chocolate fondant and Jersey milk ice cream to end.
The Valentine’s Day menu is priced at £120 per person, including Champagne and entrees followed by three courses, and is available from 5 – 10 pm.
Unwind with a Signature CODAGE Treatment at the Sofitel Spa
Sofitel London St James has recently partnered with CODAGE, the French prescriptive cosmetics brand, couples can enjoy a bespoke 60-minute treatment that has been created exclusively for the Sofitel Spa. The hotel has also created Valentine’s package, which includes a 60-minute treatment, with a choice between an in deep relaxing massage and personalised facial, followed by a delicious afternoon tea, available throughout February. For those wanting to get in shape before a delicious three-course dinner, the hotel’s range fitness and wellness equipment with Technogym products at the cutting edge of technology and design is on offer, alongside the Spa’s Zen Lounge, private Hamman and Astorina bath with hydrotherapy jet.
The Valentine’s Day Romance Offer is priced at £130 per person, including a treatment and afternoon tea.
Get Cosy in The Rose Lounge
Couples who would rather a more laid back Valentine’s Day celebration should put The Rose Lounge at the top of their list of places to visit. With cream and pink colour scheme, the lounge creates a fresh ambience complemented by displays of fresh roses and the soothing sounds of a harpist to accompany Afternoon Tea. Guests can indulge in a personalised afternoon tea, with a special Valentine’s Menu that includes champagne, a selection of charcuteries, tempura of cod, cheese and choux buns with quince puree.
The Valentine’s Day menu is priced at £55 per person, which includes a selection of treats and Champagne.
Sip Encantador Cocktails at St James Bar
Couples can make their evening even more memorable by sipping an Encantador cocktail on Valentine’s Day, whilst taking in the rich mohair velvet banquettes, warm lighting and antique mirror tables of St James Bar. Available only for the romantic celebration, the Spanish inspired cocktail, which includes tequila, strawberry and timur cordial, clementine juice and champagne, can be translated as charming, lovely, attractive any mysterious, representing the characteristics people look for when searching for love. The cocktail also brings homage to the Spanish flag through the ingredients; red from strawberries and yellow from the clementine. If this drink doesn’t suit, there is an extensive menu of innovative drinks cleverly displayed in a St James Bar passport, taking guests on a journey of cocktails from around the world. Situated adjacent to the restaurant, the hotel bar also serves a selection of tasty snacks, with both lighter and larger options, including oysters, cheese and charcuterie, crab croquettes and crisp buttermilk marinated chicken with wild garlic mayonnaise.
