Sofitel London St James Celebrates ‘Christmas Couture
Following an extensive renovation, guests are invited to discover London’s most fashionable festive season
As one of the first London hotels to unveil its festive theme, Sofitel London St James will light with decadent decorations from Thursday 14th November, launching its winter season of ‘Christmas Couture’. Decadent decorations and signature experiences including a festive afternoon tea and delicious Christmas menus at Wild Honey St James will see the hotel come to life during its first festive season following the extensive renovation project overseen by Pierre-Yves Rochon.
Savour a Seasonal Christmas
Anthony Demetre and Head Chef Simon Woodrow have put together a sumptuous festive menu that showcases the best of the season’s produce. To celebrate its first Christmas, Wild Honey St James will be serving decadent four-course dinner menus on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, with a special Christmas Day Lunch that will delight diners on the 25th December. Guests can celebrate either in the beautifully designed restaurant or in the 16-seat private dining room, savouring traditional dishes with a modern, Wild Honey twist.
Dinner is priced at £110 per person, with Christmas Day Lunch priced at £150.00 per person and a 6 course New Year’s Eve dinner for £250.00 per person.
Festive Afternoon Tea at The Rose Lounge
Surrounded by the hotel’s ‘Christmas Couture’ decorations, The Rose Lounge at Sofitel London St James will serve a festive afternoon tea this Christmas, with an exclusive list of fine teas and a selection of traditional pastries that will sparkle with seasonal cheer. Delectable smoked turkey and cranberry brioche sit delicately alongside ham hock piccalilli savouries, whilst those with a sweet tooth will savour signature favourites such as carrot cake and warm gingerbread cookies, fresh from the oven.
Festive Afternoon Tea is priced at £45.00 per person or £55.00 per person with a glass of Champagne.
Christmas at St James Bar
From Thursday 14th November St James Bar will be transformed with ‘Christmas Couture’. As the first Christmas since Sofitel London St James’ extensive refurbishment, the hotel has bold plans for the festive season, with shimmering fashion-inspired decorations and a cocktail menu that will delight the taste buds. The head bartender’s favourite, the ‘Milky Cat’ is made with Calvados Dupont fine, dubonnet, cream, egg yolk and cinnamon syrup and is set to become the highlight of the newly renovated bar’s festive cocktail menu.
