St Regis Bali, Not enough stars to rate this resort

St Regis Bali resort is located perfectly on the pristine coastal location of Nusa Dua, featuring white sandy private beaches, azure blue seas and endless botanical luscious aromatic gardens, nine acres in total.

The Indian Ocean provides the most delightful backdrop for this stunning authentically Balinese hotel and resort, the decor reminiscent of the century-old heritage of John Jacob Astor. The ambience created from the endless artwork, artefacts, floral arrangements and soft furnishings and attention to detail ensure a complete feel of relaxation. Soft muted colours, a variety of textures perfectly complimented by the flowers give this hotel throughout a special kind of ethos, from the moment you check in until check-out, you will create some amazing memories.

St Regis Bali has a total of six bars and restaurants, from fine dining to a relaxed deli style eatery, there’s a dining experience for all, catering to all dietary requirements.  One of the most spectacular experiences is the Astor Diamond Champagne Brunch at Kayuputi, a most popular way to spend several hours while taking in the spectacular views. Enjoy all of these restaurants, but don’t forget to indulge in the famous bespoke Bloody Mary in the King Cole Bar or enjoy the sunset with a cocktail on the beachfront at the Vista Bar, super photo opportunities to be had here.

We dined in the Dualang Restaurant, tucked away within the lush gardens. The menu here is a more traditional foodie experience, the Rijsttafel dinner offers a variety of delicious sharing platters, artistically presented and stunningly flavoursome.

Breakfast in the Boneka Restaurant was a fine dining involvement in itself, with fresh tasty pastries, seasonal fruit, homemade yoghurts, and simply anything you fancy with freshly cooked hot options.  The most wonderful way to begin your day, whether you choose to spend it on the beach, by the Lagoon Seawater Pool or sight seeing. But a gentle warning, once settled in your suite or villa you will not want to go anywhere else.

Our One Bedroom Lagoon Facing Villa was spectacular, and included its very own private Sweet Water Pool. The outside space was simply divine, featuring a sumptuously appointed huge daybed, comfy sun loungers and a dining table. We also had access via our garden to the huge Lagoon Pool, which included numerous sun bathing platforms. The peace and tranquility  ensures you will unwind from the minute you enter your suite or villa. Our villa was enormous, secluded and elegant, the SuperKing size bed provided a sanctuary in the air conditioning away from the heat of the Bali sun. Shades of yellow, ocre and cream for the soft furnishings, mahogany wood flooring and copious amounts of very glamorous Mother of Pearl decorations in the form of mirror surrounds, dishes and bathroom bits.

St Regis Bali, is indeed in a class of its own, sophisticated and chic, it attracts the more well informed clientele, those that have done their homework and probably read the copious number of amazing reviews, and those that have visited St Regis before, there are many returning guests, and I can see exactly why.

This is PERFECTION on a grand scale.
