Traveling to Milan for the New Fiat 500 Collezione Launch with Italian Vogue
November 5, 2018
I have been lucky enough to travel to Milan with Fiat for Launch of the New Fiat 500 Collezione with Italian Vogue. Wow wow wow what a trip! Where to start!
I arrived at the airport of course very excited and I met up with my fellow companions I was traveling with for Fiat UK. The flight landed at 1:30pm perfect timing for lunch! We had a private transfer that took us to our hotel; NH Collection Milano President Hotel and it was beautiful. The interior was modern and clean with a seasonal central display.
We all checked into our rooms! I couldn’t wait to see what my room was like. I had a balcony with a beautiful view of the busy city! I had to of course take some pictures and then back down for lunch!
We all know the Italians don’t do things by half, they provided us with a huge array of Italian food, getting us really set for the rest of the day!
I then had some time to explore the real Milan before getting ready for the big Fiat Launch Event. Myself and my fellow influencer for Luxuria Lifestyle, Alp, walked around the square and took in some ‘Milan’ sights! We of course too some pictures! Who wouldn’t?! The city is so picturesque and photogenic. The glorious sunshine showed Milan off to its best!
By now it was time to get red carpet ready for the BIG Fiat 500 Collezione Launch event! Woohoo! After a freshen up and click to my fingers. or a few clicks I was ready to experience the Fiat 500 Big Launch event. It was held in a gorgeous department store called La Rinascente. I highly recommend visiting it if you are in Milan.
As we all arrived the New Fiat 500 Collezione was showcased right in front of the store, showing it off too it’s full glory. There was so many cameras and members of the press,,paparazzi everywhere! And of course we joined in the fun no doubt about it!
We were greeted with champagne and more press! The Launch began and the inspirational features were presented to us in Italian, which I think was great as it gave a true reflection on the Italian brand. ( We were provided with translated head sets.) The videos and fashion show were superb and a great touch to the launch.
We then went down to another presentation of the new car with spot lights and models, along with the director of Italian Vogue!
The New Fiat 500 Collezione looks fabulous! The exterior and interior are delightful. So well presented and modern! I love that the roof comes off too! Such a must have feature! ( Also can you spot which side the steering wheel is on!)
After more press photos and meet and greets we went to the roof top for more drinks and canapés, Fiat really did spoil us. The food and drink was flowing all night until we couldn’t consume anymore! Everyone got a wonderful goodie back to take with them, which was a lovely souvenir.
The next day was an earlier rise as Fiat was taking us on a trip to the best spots in Milan. We started at a lovely fashion and art gallery; Palazzo Morando costume Moda. Such beautiful pieces there, I recommend if you are interested in some history and fashion, go.
We then went to the Antonio Marras store, it was full of inspirational and vintage pieces. The location and ambiance was stunning and so ‘instagram-able’.
As your probably guessing yes it’s lunch next! Fiat had booked out Corso Como. The tables were beautifully presented with Fiat menus and a big yummy Italian Feast.
I started with a selection of mozzarella, parma ham and tomatoes, followed by thinly spliced avocado. So far so good. For my main course I chose freshly handmade tomato pasta. The pasta was deliciousl!!! For dessert I had apple tart with ice cream followed, by a coffee of course!! Finishing the Italian way.
It was a lovely way to end a wonderful and completely informative trip to Milan! Fiat really spoilt the team and me! What a fabulous trip with interesting people.
A very very BIG thank you to Fiat for taking me on an experience I wouldn’t of missed! See you at the next one!
