Halloween Happenings: Cotswolds Designer Outlet this October Half Term

The newly launched Cotswolds Designer Outlet is running a fun-filled week of Halloween activities for the whole family to enjoy this October half term (Monday 27th – Friday 31st October).

A wide selection of Halloween themed and autumnal activities will be taking place across the week in the dedicated event space (units 70-71, located between Wagamama and Guess), From seasonal wreath making and Pumpkin decorating to a Halloween Trail – there will be something for everyone.

On Wednesday, 29th October, renowned local florist, Bramble & Bloom, will be hosting two workshops (1 pm-3 pm and 5:30 pm-7:30 pm) teaching guests how to create a beautiful, extra-large autumnal wreath perfect for bringing seasonal décor to your home. Tickets are £45pp and include all materials plus light refreshments. Booking is essential and must be made in advance.

On Thursday, 30th and Friday, 31st October, local artist Sam Morris will be hosting Pumpkin Painting workshops. Following Sam’s successful artist residence at the outlet in August, she is returning to host the free activity designed for all ages to enjoy. Pumpkins, materials and light refreshments will be provided, with guests able to take their creation home to display – just in time for Halloween. Workshops will be taking place at 10:30 am-12 pm and 2 pm-3:30 pm both days. All materials, pumpkins and light refreshments will be provided. Booking is advised due to limited spaces.

On Friday, 31st October (Halloween itself), little shoppers arriving in fancy dress will receive a special treat if they visit Guest Services.

Also taking place throughout the half-term will be a Halloween-themed version of the popular dog trail. Trail sheets can be found at Guest Services, which will help little ones find the doggies, placed around the outlet. Those who find all 8 dogs will be awarded a treat when they hand the sheet in, on successful completion of the trail.

Visitors should keep their eyes peeled for special seasonal treats available across the site. The contemporary new development nestled in the stunning North Gloucestershire countryside is easily accessible from the M5 motorway via Junction 9, where you immediately see the stunning venue as you join the A46. Offering ample parking spaces and providing an extended bank of EV charging stations, it’s the perfect pit stop. At weekends and bank holidays, a newly introduced shuttle bus service will operate every 30 minutes from the centre of the nearby town of Tewkesbury, also calling at the local railway station at Ashchurch.
