Le Chaland, Mauritius, 3 October 2025: Anantara Iko Mauritius Resort & Villas introduces E-Bike ‘Pedal to Taste’, a guided electric bike experience that threads quiet coastal lanes, sugar field paths, and village streets, pausing for tastings with local artisans and producers.

Set under the Be Lokal pillar, the route balances light activity with cultural flavour. Electric assistance keeps the pace comfortable for mixed abilities, while hosts share notes on daily island life, seasonal produce, and local crafts.

The journey, step by step

• Safety & fit: helmet fitting, e-bike intro, and route briefing at the resort.
• Coastal roll out: easy warm up along lanes with ocean views and sugar fields.
• Tasting trail: two to three stops, such as a bakery bite, fresh juice, or a family-run snack counter.
• Village stories: short pauses for photos and insights into crafts and daily routines.
• Return glide: a gentle ride back to the resort with a final cool down.
