Bringing Entertainment Back

Home entertainment has never been more popular. Not only because we are more restricted in our movements but also because the value of family time has become ever more essential to our lives.

In years gone by the piano played a huge role in the home. Along with parlour games and reading, playing an instrument was regarded a natural and popular past time and if you were lucky enough to own a piano you really did aspire to grandeur.

One of the only UK based piano makers, Edelweiss, create bespoke masterpieces more like art than musical instruments. Their most recent creation is the ‘Solis’ based on the California setting sun and the wonderful landscapes surrounding the luxury home, the latest piano is a completely bespoke creation from the Creative Lead and Company Founder of Edelweiss, Mark Norman. The latest design is from resident designer Goldfinch by Edelweiss. Designs created with their bespoke design team reach in excess of £250,000 per piano.

The Solis

The piano is just the latest edition to the impressive portfolio of musical art. These one-off designs are created uniquely for the buyer’s homes, with their use, décor and requirements in mind. To demonstrate these fabulous designs Edelweiss have launched a 2021 Look Book designed to inspire designers worldwide.

The look book contains the most popular combinations from the Edelweiss Collection. Customers can choose colours, veneers, accessories, and contrasting colours using the online configurator or choose from the bestselling designs such as the colourful Elmer or Transparent Upright.

The range is offered with and without self-play cleverly installed seamlessly in the structure. They also offer the world’s smallest grand piano with full size keyboard, the Sygnet G52. Available in a range of colours and in the ever-popular transparent finish.

The perfect luxury valentines gift for 2021 has to be the Pastel Elmer. The Elmer Original is a current bestseller after it showcased in Harrods, Knightsbridge. Like all of the Edelweiss collection pianos designs are available in three models; baby grand, flugel and upright. Designed for modern living and economical on space. Also available in a number of other colour combinations the Pastel Elmer Sygnet is the ultimate declaration of love.

The Sygnet – also known as the ‘Butterfly’, has a compact design particularly suitable to inner city penthouses, super yachts and restaurants.

Edelweiss has its roots firmly embedded in the piano industry. Launched in 2008 by the team behind 1066 Pianos, Edelweiss has remained in Cambridge and built its production facility.
