Jewel Safaris Limited is a local Ugandan-based tour company operating within the East African region including Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania and Congo. The company has been in existence for 15 years with experience in offering luxury, mid-range and tailor-made safaris.

Jewel Safaris is a member of the Association of Uganda Tour Operators (AUTO) and is licensed by the Uganda Tourism Board.

Our staff

Jewel Safaris Limited has over 15 dedicated and professional staff, all with a background in tourism and hospitality management and therefore highly skilled and possess excellent customer service to handle the clients.

As a company, we select fun activities to create a wide range of safari packages that fulfill the client’s needs hence providing remarkable experiences. Some of our safari products include gorilla trekking, chimpanzee trekking, wildlife safaris, hiking, cultural tours, white water rafting, cycling and birding tours.

Our Fleet

When it comes to the transport system, the company has a fleet of over 15 comfortable air-conditioned Land Cruisers with a pop-up roof, enough legroom and sliding windows that enable perfect game viewing. The vehicles are also regularly well serviced after every safari for the safety and comfort of our clients.

We have some of the best safari driver-guides in the region who are highly trained and competent with vast experience in safari driving and very informative about travel, wildlife and culture in the different destinations.
