One of the highlights of our stay was the stunning outdoor pool. We were lucky the sun was shining, and we were able to take full advantage of the comfortable sun loungers. We found ourselves happily spending hours here, basking in the peaceful atmosphere. The pool area feels like a secluded paradise, with the gentle sounds of nature.

Inside, the resort is just as impressive. The elegant glass atriums flood the communal areas with natural light, creating a bright, cheery atmosphere. Whether enjoying a cup of herbal tea or simply relaxing with a book, these spaces are a delight to spend time in.

Our room was lovely, spacious, tastefully decorated, and equipped with all the thoughtful touches you’d expect from a luxury spa resort. From fabulous bedding to a great bathroom, everything was thoughtfully designed for maximum comfort. The views from our window added another layer of tranquillity to our stay, looking out over the gardens and lake beyond.

Dining at Forest Mere was a real treat. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and deliciously healthy, with a wide range of options catering to all tastes. Whether we were enjoying a nourishing breakfast or a more indulgent evening meal, the quality and attention to detail were consistently impressive. The service throughout was equally friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm.

Of course, no stay at Champneys would be complete without indulging in the spa facilities, and Forest Mere certainly doesn’t disappoint. The spa is world-class, offering a wide variety of treatments and experiences designed to pamper and restore. From hydrotherapy to relaxing massages. Time in the spa and gym was invaluable, we took full advantage of the indoor pool and jacuzzi, the sauna and steam room, and the gym, which was, of course, hi-tech and spacious.

What sets Forest Mere apart, though, is the staff. Everyone we encountered was welcoming, upbeat, and professional, clearly passionate about creating the best guest experience, their friendliness made our visit even more special.
