Macellaio RC is renowned as the authentic, pioneering Italian Steakhouse with three distinct venues in London: South Kensington, Exmouth Market and the flagship Soho restaurant. Each serves the tender, rich and sweet Fassona Piemontese beef from the special mountain valleys of North Genoa, known globally to be the leanest breed of cattle. The Soho branch was the newest member of the Macellaio RC group and amongst the heart of London’s theatre district; often dubbed as ‘Il Teatro Della Carne’, with its very own ‘butchers theatre’.

Keeping to the theme of spectacular shows, Macellaio RC unveils its latest theatrical edition with a brand new menu, still remaining committed to using the best possible produce from Italy. With an emphasis on beef, the menu features a range of world-class cuts from Fassona cattle – a breed native to Piemonte, in north-west Italy. In addition, the restaurants serve the prestigious Hertfordshire steak, premium Halal Sashi and the flavoursome Tomohawk. Complemented with Italian wines, the new menu is set to redefine Italian dining in the city with star dishes including Orecchia d’Elefante, Monkfish, Amatriciana Tonno e Guanciale, Gnocchi al pesto, Cotoletta Alla Milanese and Ravioli al Tocco. Half-size portions are available for lunch alongside free corkage on fine wines during all seatings.

An entirely homemade, sustainable and biodiverse menu, most produce is sourced by the Italian owner himself, who has travelled across the Italian landscape to source from the finest producers in Italy. The constant hallmark is the meticulous selection of premium ingredients, minimally transformed for a superior culinary experience. In addition, guests can also enjoy a range of masterclasses from butchery to tiramisu and pasta.

Located in the heart of the West End, Macellaio’s Soho site is its newest addition to the growing family of restaurants. Evoking glamorous Italian style with wooden panelling and marble table tops throughout, the space is centred around an impressive display of aged meat, which sits as a focal point in the middle of the restaurant.
