Occupying a secluded rural position within a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the heart of the Purbecks, Woodyhyde Courtyard is a large detached luxury holiday property with its own leisure facilities including heated indoor swimming pool and sauna. In the games room, there is table tennis, a pool table and table football. There is also a gym (adults only) and there is the use of an adjacent field for games and picnics as well as a tennis court. Use of the court is shared with the owners family, but guests are always given priority.

Apart from the upstairs games room, all the accommodation is on the ground floor. But there are 4 steps between the dining room and some of the accommodation including the main lounge and swimming pool.

We are very pleased to say that we have been graded 5* by Visit England with their Gold Award for Woodyhyde.

It was in the year 2000 that the owners Ian and Lesley Soulsby purchased the barns at Woodyhyde.

As agricultural barns, they had been derelict for about 5 years so the cows and sheep were long gone and the dilapidated barns were in a poor state of repair. Planning consent for their conversion followed enabling the creation of four houses.

The Courtyard is by far the largest property where three adjoining brick built barns around the main farmyard area were converted into what is now the main part of the living accommodation. Attached is a more modern style 1960s barn that has recently been totally renovated and re-fitted to provide additional living accommodation and the leisure facilities of pool, sauna and games room.
