Residents London hotels ensuring heartfelt comfort and hospitality
The Resident Covent Garden
Renowned for its picturesque Italianate Piazza, charming market stalls, vibrant street performers, and for having some of the best luxury shopping and fine dining in the capital, not to mention being home to the world-famous Royal Opera House and West End theatres, Covent Garden is one of London’s most enchanting and inspirational destinations.
Overlooking the Strand, The Resident Covent Garden is located right in the heart of the area, within a 5-minute walk of both Covent Garden and Charing Cross stations. Each of our 57 rooms is furnished with elegant, hand-made furniture, produced locally in West London, and luxurious fabrics made using natural fibres woven on the Isle of Bute, Scotland.
Each room features our signature Mini Kitchen, as well as stylish touches, including bespoke artwork and special edition Paul Smith Anglepoise lamps, which echo our focus on quality British design and craftsmanship.
Our 24-hour front desk team are all specially trained experts on the local Covent Garden area and passionate about sharing their knowledge. That’s why we call them our Resident Insiders. They can provide personalised suggestions for anything from where to eat and drink, or what to see and do, based on your specific requirements. They will also happily book any tours, tickets or taxis, or make any restaurant reservations on your behalf.
The Resident Covent Garden offers services that are ideally suited for the situation we currently face. All our rooms feature our signature in-room mini-kitchen complete with fridge, microwave, sink with BRITA filter tap (currently not available at Liverpool), kettle, crockery, cutlery, glassware, Nespresso coffee machine and complimentary Nespresso capsules and Fairtrade teas. It gives you the freedom and flexibility to store and prepare your food and make a tea or coffee whenever you wish.
Our team can pre-stock your in-room fridge and larder with any items you prefer 24 hours before you arrive. If you are looking for inspiration on what to order, why not request croissants and fresh fruit for breakfast, scones and sandwiches for afternoon tea, wine and cheese for the evening, or champagne and truffles for an extra special treat. As long as we’re able to find it at a nearby shop or supermarket, we’ll collect whatever you prefer. (excludes raw fish and raw meat). Alcohol can be purchased from our F&B menu. Currently, we do not charge a service charge and all grocery items purchased are at cost price).
We’re also proud to share information about a non-profit initiative we’re involved with – Nights on Us. Over 3,000 deserving ICU nurses have now redeemed over £1.2 million worth of luxury hotel stays, and they were redeemed in a mere six hours – which equates to around eight stays being issued per minute. Resident Hotels proudly pledged 2020 complimentary room nights!
