New Additions to the Fleet

This year Hobbs of Henley have purchased a brand-new Linssen SL Series 35 AC for the perfect staycation on the River Thames. Other new additions to their fleet include a world premiere Alfastreet 23 Evo from Slovenia and five new electric boats from Holland, both representing a new and exciting concept in luxury Thames boat rental.

Beyond Boat Hire: Public Trips and Special Events

It is not just about boat hire at Hobbs of Henley. They also offer public river trips every day from April to September on their passenger vessels cruising along the beautiful stretch of the Henley Royal Regatta Reach between Marsh and Hambleden Locks. Every round trip operates from their boatyard and lasts 60 minutes, featuring an informative pre-recorded commentary.

And if boats are not your thing but gin is, then you are in luck, as Hobbs of Henley launched their first ‘Mr Hobbs Henley Gin’ in 2017 and more recently their latest award-winning gin, named ‘Mr Hobbs 150’, to commemorate their 150th anniversary and a nod to their founding father Harry Hobbs.

In addition to boats and gin, in 2021 they launched their new clothing line ‘1870’. Initially the line has started with hoodies and T-shirts, and the design on these garments represents a nod to their business (1870), the river and to Henley – a great memento to take away from your trip to this beautiful riverside town.
