Hotel Riomar has joined the Tribute Portfolio, Marriott International’s new collection of independent, charming hotels, united by their passion for alluring design and their drive to create vibrant social scenes for visitors and Ibiza residents alike.

The 4-star Hotel Riomar comprises 116 rooms, including 4 suites, all completely remodelled with minimalist and contemporary aesthetics. Half of the rooms overlook Santa Eulalia Bay while the rest overlook Ibiza’s rural heritage, including the historic Puig de Missa. Guests are welcomed at the Lobby Lounge & Brasserie & Bar which leads to a roofed terrace by the beach.

The hotel’s pool terrace features sunbeds and cabanas overlooking TRIBE, the ‘secret’ garden. In addition, sporty guests can enjoy the pleasure of exercising on the exclusive beach area, right in front of the hotel. Throughout the week there are a selection of wellness activities to partake in, including curated wellness experiences. Yoga on the beach, pilates and paddle boarding are highly recommended.

Stays at Hotel Riomar start from €160 per room, per night, but I would absolutely upgrade to the deluxe sea view for €207. All prices include a glorious breakfast spread and nothing truly matches up to waking up and falling asleep to the sound of the ocean.
