Bombay Sapphire Launches Gin & Tonic Month with MasterPeace Art Masterclasses

With World Gin Day on 11th June, this unique series of events features as part of the brand’s inaugural Gin & Tonic Month, running throughout June as an extended celebration of the iconic drink. The leading premium gin brand has partnered with the popular London studio to encourage guests to hone their art skills and stir creativity. Each session is inspired by four hero gins from the ever-expanding Bombay Sapphire collection.

Unlocking Creativity Through Art and Flavour

Bombay Sapphire and MasterPeace share an ethos of encouraging everyone to tap into their creative side. Although recent years saw a spike in people seeking new creative endeavours to feel fulfilled and energised, life has returned to a faster pace, making it harder to make time for these vital acts of creativity. This new series, co-curated by the two brands, is designed to reignite that creative spark through simple, convenient skills learned in a 90-minute exploration of art and flavour. Whether attendees seek to discover new creative skills or upgrade their G&T for their next social event, every guest will leave feeling invigorated and fulfilled.

The Art of Surprise: Step Outside Your Comfort Zone

The sessions encourage guests to try new things, with a surprise element ensuring those securing one of the 12 tickets per class take a leap of faith. Ticket-holders will not learn the type of art they’ll master until 24 hours before arrival. Upfront details include only the date, time, and the inspiring gin expression, which will also feature at the Bombay Sapphire-hosted private bar.

The series features diverse arts, from alcohol-infused watercolour (hosted in the courtyard) to a Pollock-style painting session inspired by the light refractions and blue hue of the iconic Bombay Sapphire bottle. Classes are led by MasterPeace Studios’ inspiring artists, with tickets including all materials and tools.

G&T Bar and Ginspiration Wheel

Celebrating one of the country’s favourite tipples, the experience includes a G&T bar. Upon arrival, ticket-holders spin the ‘Ginspiration Wheel’ to land on a Fever-Tree mixer and garnish for their G&T. The canvas is one of four hero gins with balanced profiles: Bombay Bramble (bold berry infusion), Bombay Citron Pressé (vibrant zesty lemon), Bombay Sunset (subtly spiced citrus), and the versatile Bombay Sapphire.

Gin & Tonic Month Celebrations

June 2022 marked Bombay Sapphire’s first G&T Month, launched around World Gin Day to celebrate the world’s most loved spirit. Beyond the MasterPeace series, the brand activated G&T twists at partner bars nationwide, with recipes recreatable at home. Perfect a classic al fresco G&T, elevate your tipple, or try vibrant garnishes when hosting friends.
