There are several hampers to choose from, covering all budgets. They have fun Christmas-inspired names, such as The Jingle Bells Hamper, The Nutcracker Hamper, Rudolph Hamper, The Three Kings Hamper, and many more.
The Truly Magnificent Hamper
The pièce de résistance is ‘The Truly Magnificent Hamper’ – and it certainly lives up to its name! It includes 39 items and is delivered in two large hampers. The main feature is the Dukeshill-famous St George’s boneless ham, cured in mild and sweet Wiltshire brine, then baked in a glaze of spiced oranges, cinnamon, mace, and cloves (4.5kg minimum weight), alongside a sliced oak-smoked salmon side (1kg). I’m now Christmas-ready – apart from fresh fruit and vegetables, no grocery shopping for me.

Early Indulgences
We dipped into the hamper and allowed ourselves some early Christmas indulgences. The almond-topped mince pies are simply divine – rich and crumbly, and with a generous dollop of brandy butter, exceptionally special. The Colston Bassett Stilton was calling out to me, coupled with the heavenly Proper Piccalilli in a Kilner jar – extremely Christmassy. We cheated a little and opened a stunning bottle of red, Barolo del Comune di La Morra Crissante, which paired beautifully with the cheese.
Although we indulged in a few early goodies, we still have plenty left – enough for Christmas Eve through to Boxing Day. We can’t wait!
