Arla Luxury Home – a super-stylish Austrian Chalet experience
Ultimate Luxury at Arla Luxury Home, Lech
When booking your ski or snowboarding holiday, several boxes must be ticked for the most exciting and safe experience—in my humble opinion, of course:
- Complete and utter comfort in your chosen chalet or hotel
- Ski-in, ski-out access
- Amazing cuisine
- Spa facilities
- Convenience to the local town with fabulous bars, restaurants, and shops
- Superb slopes with efficient lifts and cable cars
- Professional ski school instructors and guides
- A chalet team with extensive resort knowledge
- And, if you are lucky, a five-star concierge service
If these are on your list, look no further. Arla Luxury Home in Lech, Austria, is your go-to chalet. It surpasses five-star—it’s sheer perfection!
Chalet Design and Facilities
Arla Luxury Home is part of the Pepper Collection, with each chalet designed for luxury in every corner, infused with authentic Austrian ethos.
The Arla chalet is huge and jaw-droppingly splendid, spread over three floors. The basement houses a spa area with sauna, steam room, rest zone, and a gym equipped to the highest standard with top-notch machinery. The ground floor is a suite in itself, featuring two large bedrooms and bathrooms, a lounge with kitchen facilities, and a balcony boasting stunning views over the town and mountains. The upper floor holds the master suite—total luxury with a vast bathroom, double sinks, and deep bath. Its massive balcony overlooks the mountains and town. Also on this level is the main dining and kitchen area, where the two exceptional Arla team members served breakfast each morning. Hand-picked for efficiency, they ensured we wanted for nothing. This chalet is pure seduction by the slopes.
Designed with utmost attention to detail, the furnishings are of the highest quality, with soft, luxurious fabrics. If you crave elevated luxe, Arla is for you—live the dream here.
A Perfect Day in Lech
We enjoyed four glorious days in Lech, a superb winter resort for all skiing and snowboarding levels, offering plenty for non-skiers too.
Our day began with a veritable feast fit for a king: fresh bread and pastries, meats, jams, avocado, fruit, hot options, fresh juices, tea, or coffee—the perfect fuel for mountain exertion.
Well prepared, we relished ski-in, ski-out access, sparing us the chore of lugging skis and poles after an exhausting day. Austrian lifts and cable cars were efficient, runs open and groomed perfectly. We burned calories galore. A light slope-side lunch provided rest and refuelling, followed by more skiing before returning for private spa, gym time, and—dare I say—tea and cake!
Dining and Additional Indulgences
Post-relaxation, dinner awaits at the Aurelio Hotel, a 200-yard walk away. The menu is delicious, the dining room comfortable, and the team friendly. We dined there nightly; the varied, superb cuisine in a sumptuous, cosy space with relaxed vibes was divine.
Chalet guests can access the Hotel Aurelio Spa: workout, unwind, detox, rehydrate with sauna, steam room, ice bath (for the brave), huge indoor pool, and head-to-toe treatments. We spent half a day there—bliss!
Final Thoughts
All in all, the chalet and hotel combine luxury, indulgence, and culinary excellence. We shan’t forget our Lech stay and long to return to Arla—or another Pepper Collection gem.
