Dr Bahra, what inspired you to create this incredible practice?
I’ve worked as an associate at a number of practices over the years and felt ready to take the next step of owning a practice. Dr Raffaella Gabassi did a remarkable job designing and building the practice when she owned White Dental and Cosmetic Rooms. I felt, along with my wife Amarjot, we could build upon this incredible foundation to grow the practice. With us both being dentists, we have bounced off each other well to develop a practice we can both be proud of.
What does your day look like?
A typical day for me is mostly spent with our clients. Owning a practice requires time and effort, but my passion is dentistry. I enjoy listening to our clients’ journeys and helping them achieve their dental goals. It is not always cosmetic treatments; for many, it may just be pain relief or maintenance of a healthy smile. A general day consists of consultations and treatments. Having trained in multiple fields within dentistry, my daily treatments range from braces and Invisalign to composite bonding, restorative therapies, oral surgery, and dental implants. Every smile journey is unique, bringing its own fulfilment.
Between seeing clients, I check in with all team members. Our admin team is excellent and, being at the front of house, they provide a seamless journey for our clients. I would be lost without our nursing team and their support.
What are your main challenges as Principal Dentist and Clinic Owner?
We ensure the day-to-day running of our clinic is smooth and our team is well supported. We stay at the forefront of modern dentistry, providing clinicians with required materials and equipment. I don’t want to be restrictive; I provide an environment allowing everyone to deliver the best treatment outcomes.
Having a reliable team is imperative—every member is equally important. Implementing systems and processes, tailored to clients’ feedback, has grown the practice from business and client perspectives, ensuring a seamless experience.
How do you choose your team members for impressive cosmetic and regular dentistry?
Thank you, Amber. Every team member is talented with unique strengths. Providing an environment for them to flourish daily is key.
I wanted our practice to manage all clients’ cosmetic inquiries and oral health in-house—like a one-stop shop. This enables holistic smile assessments and bespoke plans tailored to needs and expectations. I built the team around our clients, not just ticking dentistry specialities.
How do the latest digital advances impact your treatments?
I am a big fan of technological advances, showcasing innovative ideas once far-fetched.
Advancements have elevated modern dentistry, offering greater precision and predictability. Digital intra-oral scanners generate real-time 3D models, letting patients see their teeth from different angles and hidden areas. Some show live views of aligned teeth—something we once explained verbally. Patients now visualise outcomes from the outset, unlike past blind acceptance.
As a photography hobbyist, I take treatment photos to show the journey to dream smiles. High-definition images help critique and perfect work for optimal results.
Do you see the brand expanding?
I do see the brand expanding. I’d like another location to design from vision to reality and explore branded products for our clinic.

What shape did your career path take?
My path was unconventional. I began implant surgery within a year of practice (under proper mentoring). After my dental degree, I knew the dentistry I wanted to provide.
I invested early earnings in skills, completing postgraduate training in Implant Surgery, Orthodontics, and Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry. These experiences enhanced my skills early, which I’ve refined since. Early investment was crucial.
How do you stay abreast of ever-changing cosmetic dentistry procedures?
Dentists must complete Continued Professional Development (CPD) hours. But minimums aren’t enough. Reading articles, magazines, subscriptions, attending conferences, and following dentistry on social media keeps us at the forefront.
What is the most popular cosmetic treatment amid bespoke consultations?
Every consultation is tailored to clients’ needs. I start by listening silently to their journey—listening is key.
Popular treatments range from teeth whitening to veneers and crowns. Orthodontics like Invisalign is most popular, transforming smiles. Composite Bonding is rising—minimally invasive, enhancing shade, shape, size, and appearance without drilling.
How do you relax and where do you holiday?
I’m a keen photographer and car/motorbike enthusiast. The best relaxation is holidays. My wife and I love travelling; the Caribbean is our favourite recent spot. We hope to explore more.
What is your vision for the future?
Expand our talented team and become more accessible across London and surrounding areas.
