The design itself is a tribute to its surroundings, built from simple bush stone, Acacia, Olive, and Leleshwa wood — all sustainably sourced from within the sanctuary. Every piece of furniture, hand-crafted in the on-site workshop, is unique, lending a rich, distinctive African flair to the entire property.

Exclusive Accommodation

The lodge offers eight well-spaced, luxurious bandas (cottages), each featuring an en-suite bathroom, unique decor, and a private veranda offering spectacular views of the Rift Valley escarpment and the Wildlife Sanctuary. Choose from five standard or three larger deluxe rooms. Within, you will find magnificent four-poster king-size beds crafted from olive wood, roaring log fires for chilly evenings, and unique, individual décor that ensures no two rooms are alike. Deluxe rooms elevate the experience further with separate lounge areas, perfect for unwinding. All cottages feature daily restocked tea and coffee stations and mini-bars.

Farm-to-Table Safari Dining

Dining at Chui Lodge is a culinary journey, guided by professionally trained chefs. The commitment to fresh, quality ingredients is evident, with much of the produce sourced directly from the lodge’s organic vegetable farm and dairy.

Getting There

Located just a scenic 2 to 2.5-hour drive from Nairobi, the journey is straightforward on a fully tarmac road to the Sanctuary gate. For a swifter arrival, scheduled or private charter flights take only twenty minutes from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport to Loldia Airstrip, a short 20-minute transfer from the lodge. An on-site airstrip is also available for private charters.
