The Happily Ever After Hamper
We were so privileged to receive the beautiful Happily Ever After Hamper. It arrived exquisitely packaged, complete with a personalised gift card, and chilled items carefully packed with ice packs to ensure complete freshness. The hand-woven hamper itself is lovely and surprisingly practical — ours is already being used as a dog toy box, and I’m not sure whether to apologise for that or recommend it!
Discovering a boxed bottle of my favourite champagne, Taittinger, nestled among the shredded tissue paper, was a real treat. There are far too many items to list, but highlights include cured smoked salmon, fruit cake, vintage cheddar, fruit scones with all the necessary accompaniments, a selection of sweet and savoury biscuits, and a particular weakness of mine — garlic and rosemary olives. A perfect pairing with the champagne, and just like that, my Saturday night was sorted.
