Wimbledon’s Retail Collections Captures Evolving Tennis Style

Today, The All England Lawn Tennis Club officially unveiled its Wimbledon Retail Collection ahead of The Championships 2026, proving that as tennis style remains popular in global fashion and culture, Wimbledon once again sets the benchmark by blending high-performance sportswear with premium, versatile lifestyle pieces.

The enduring popularity of tennis-wear is directly reflected in Wimbledon’s own retail growth. Between 2021 and 2025, sales of Wimbledon’s lifestyle range have grown significantly by 129% – demonstrating the huge demand for sport-luxe pieces that transition seamlessly from court to clubhouse.

Deep-Rooted Heritage: From the Museum Archives to the Court

The inspiration for the 2026 collection is anchored in the DNA of the All England Club Grounds. The design team has translated elements of the physical environment of the historic event directly into the range. For example, the clean symmetry of the pristine white court lines against the vibrant green grass is reimagined as graphic panel details, while subtle embroidery mimics the texture of the Centre Court net.

This connection to the sport’s legacy comes at a time when public interest in tennis history is at an all-time high, evidenced by a 7% year-on-year increase in visitors to the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum, located on the All England Club Grounds. The Museum houses decades of iconic tennis fashion in its archives, much of which served as the creative starting point for the 2026 Collection.

A Modern Twist: Introducing the Strawberry Capsule

A standout source of inspiration from the archives is Midge – Mattel’s iconic fashion doll and Barbie’s first best friend, introduced in 1963 – who wears a vintage tennis outfit with a bright red trim. Drawing on this playful, retro spirit, the Wimbledon design team has introduced a vibrant, contemporary element for 2026: the first-ever strawberry capsule.

The capsule is decorated with a bold strawberry motif – an icon synonymous with the Wimbledon experience. This playful red accent is seamlessly integrated into the trims of high-performance sportswear, taking centre stage in hero pieces such as the Women’s Performance Strawberry Polo and matching Wrap Skort, alongside everyday accessories like the Strawberry Crew Socks.

This heritage-led design approach also extends to the collection’s highly anticipated accessories range. Returning for 2026 is the Wimbledon Collegiate Cap – Wimbledon’s fastest-selling headwear item of 2025, which sold out by day four of The Championships – now available in fresh colourways.

The 2026 Wimbledon Retail Collection celebrates the longstanding traditions and styles that have defined the sport for generations. Priced from £8 to £155, the collection is available to purchase on-site at The Championships and online  here
