Quooker : The tap that changed the way we drink water forever
We recently had the pleasure of partnering with Quooker, experiencing firsthand the phenomenal performance of their industry-leading range of boiling, sparkling, and filtered water systems. Since Dutch engineer Henri Peteri first created the instant boiling water tap in 1970, Quooker has established itself as a global gold standard in kitchen innovation. Today, the brand remains a leading name, combining iconic Dutch engineering with high-end luxury design.
The model we selected was the Flex Round in Patinated Brass paired with the Quooker CUBE technology. It’s a breathtaking fixture that acts as a centrepiece in the kitchen. The patinated brass finish is particularly amazing; crafted to age naturally over time, it develops a unique, characterful surface that feels so sophisticated.
Having had the tap installed for two weeks now, it has completely transformed our daily routine. The 100°C instant boiling function makes the traditional kettle null and void, streamlining everything from morning hot drinks to speedy food prep. Equally impressive is the CUBE unit hidden neatly below the worktop, where the advanced filtration technology and a CO2 cylinder are stored. It dispenses perfectly chilled, ultra-filtered drinking water alongside crisp, beautifully carbonated sparkling water at the turn of a dial. Beyond the sheer convenience, this 5-in-1 system has dramatically reduced our single-use plastic footprint, completely removed the need for bottled mineral water, while also providing a refreshing, high-end alternative to sugary soft drinks.
The Quooker customer journey was first-class from the start. Quooker’s service was impeccable, with the unit arriving in pristine condition and wrapped in their signature red towel, a thoughtful touch that further ensures their commitment to luxury presentation.
On installation day, the certified Quooker engineer arrived promptly, walked us through the technical details, and carefully fitted the under-sink CUBE unit to optimise our cabinet space. Once he had finished, he made sure we were happy and walked us through how to use the tap, as well as the aftercare, to make sure we keep getting the most out of our tap. The process was speedy and incredibly professional. The tap is complete with built-in safety mechanisms like the double-push-and-turn textured bezel for boiling water and an automated boiling cut-off whenever the flexible hose is extended, making it perfect for all family settings.
