The location is another real highlight. Situated in Illetas, the hotel feels wonderfully peaceful, yet it is so close to Palma that exploring the island’s capital couldn’t be easier. Palma is a beautiful city with so much more to offer than shops and restaurants. Its fascinating history is evident everywhere, from the magnificent Gothic cathedral, La Seu, overlooking the bay, to the historic old town’s narrow cobbled streets, ancient courtyards, and reminders of its medieval past. Wandering through the old streets, discovering hidden squares, and enjoying the wonderful cafés and restaurants is an absolute pleasure. Being able to combine the tranquillity of BonSol with easy access to such a culturally rich city is a real bonus.

The hotel itself is full of character and charm. The rooms are great, comfortable, and welcoming, providing a lovely place to relax after a day exploring or simply enjoying the sunshine by the pool. The food is fabulous too, with a great choice and a quality that makes dining at the hotel a real pleasure. Being able to enjoy such delicious food without having to venture out every evening is another definite bonus.

The pools are fantastic and provide beautiful places to unwind, soak up the sunshine, and enjoy the delicious poolside dining. Although the hotel doesn’t offer a traditional sandy beach where you can sit on the sand all day, access to the sea is lovely. Being able to get into the clear Mediterranean water and enjoy a swim is a real treat, and the beautiful setting more than makes up for the lack of a conventional beach.

What really sets Hotel BonSol apart, though, is the overall experience. It offers a wonderful mix of old-world charm, excellent facilities, delicious food, a superb location, and genuinely friendly service. It feels personal and relaxed rather than pretentious, and special without being over the top.

Hotel BonSol is a real Mallorcan gem and a credit to the family and team who make it what it is. Whether you want to relax by the pool, enjoy the sea, savour wonderful food, or explore the history and beauty of Palma, it offers the perfect base for a memorable holiday.
