On arrival at 18 Woolacombe East we were blown away by the sheer size of the apartment: three bedrooms with two generously sized double beds and one twin room, two large bathrooms, a huge lounge and dining area with every amenity that you could possibly need from board games to champagne glasses and even a bread bin—they’ve thought of absolutely every need, which makes it feel like a home from home.
Don’t even get me started on the outside terrace with a jacuzzi overlooking the ocean and a huge dining table that could fit about 15 people, ideal for a spring or summer night.
This trip can be made even more special through additional ‘add-ons’ available on arrival from local partners. We arrived at a delectable Coastal Cooks breakfast box but you can even book a private chef whilst there alongside a tantalising Chichester Hampers cookie box, plus a bottle of sparkling which got us ready for the perfect long weekend.

If you’d like to sample yoga, pilates or meditation, we’d highly recommend booking in a session with SGP Pilates (sense greater peace), as you can have a 1-1 private session or even yoga on the beach which is absolutely magical. Sue Dawson is an absolute joy of a teacher who draws on her skills and wisdom acquired through years of teaching, training and life experience. She’s got so much knowledge and a really inspirational story.
With properties ranging from one bedroom to four bedrooms including the penthouse, you’ve got so many options and after this stay, I’ll undoubtedly be coming back annually to make my way through these fantastically thought-out stays. You don’t often get this level of attention to detail at apartment lets, which is undeniably refreshing.
