Ibiza Gran Hotel is to launch a new gastronomy series this April
Ibiza Gran Hotel’s Epicurean Revival
In collaboration with fellow gourmands, Ibiza Gran Hotel will release a series of beloved recipes from the island this April, led by Executive Chef Óscar Molina. Designed to unite and inspire, these recipes recreate extraordinary flavours from the white isle, best enjoyed with family and friends. The hotel will also showcase local producers throughout the season.
The hotel will unveil a new culinary programme, including private cooking classes and a sunrise-to-sunset culinary journey designed to surprise and delight. Ibiza Gran Hotel reopens on 8 April 2022, with La Gaia welcoming diners from 14 April.
Chef Óscar Molina’s Michelin-Star Milestone
Chef Molina earned his first MICHELIN star in December 2021 for La Gaia, making Ibiza Gran Hotel the first and only hotel on the island to achieve this accolade. Drawing on over a decade of experience, the epicurean series features unseen recipes, signature flavours, and guest favourites from The Grand Breakfast, The Pool Restaurant, Head Mixologist Daniel Martínez, and Head Sommelier Vasili Abodzich.
“It is an honour to share a taste of my personal recipes with our guests,” said Óscar Molina, Executive Chef. “I have been in the kitchen for many years and am constantly inspired by the flavours and sensations we have here close to home in the Mediterranean. We are committed to showcasing the culinary treasures from the region and driving a more sustainable approach to gastronomy that ensures the protection of the environment for many years to come.”
New Gastronomic Experiences for 2022
A sanctuary in the heart of Ibiza’s Paseo Marítimo, adjacent to premium marinas, designer boutiques, and Dalt Vila, the hotel offers 185 spacious suites and acclaimed restaurants.
Flavours of Ibiza Cooking Class
Focuses on local, farm-to-table ingredients used at La Gaia.
A Journey of Taste
A once-in-a-lifetime day with Chef Molina: in-room breakfast with mimosas, local market visit, private cooking class, Bodegas Can Rich tasting (wine, olive oil, vinegar), and dinner at La Gaia with sommelier-paired wines. New dishes, sustainable wine pairings, and a champagne flight highlight the season.
Awards and Dining Excellence
Five Mediterranean-inspired restaurants include flagship La Gaia (seasonal, local cuisine), Downtown Ibiza by Giuseppe Cipriani (authentic Italian), and The Grand Breakfast and Pool Restaurant (fresh, local fare).
“Ibiza has long been renowned for its festivities, but we at Ibiza Gran Hotel are putting the island on the map for its epicurean excellence,” said Raúl Sierra, General Manager. “We believe in showcasing raw ingredients from our local area in a creative and authentic way – from the farm to your table.”
Recipe Series Launch
Seven recipes, starting with Chef Molina’s personal contribution in April 2022, will be delivered directly to inboxes throughout the season.
