Apex Temple Court in London – the perfect hotel for a romantic stay
Nestled in the bustling heart of London, luxury awaits you at Apex Temple Court. This hotel offered a perfect blend of modern luxury and historical charm, making it a memorable and delightful experience from start to finish.
The hotel’s prime location in the heart of London couldn’t be better. It’s just a stone’s throw away from iconic landmarks like St. Paul’s Cathedral, the River Thames, and Covent Garden. This central location made it easy to explore the city and return to a serene and elegant sanctuary.
Walking into the Apex Temple Court felt like stepping into a modern masterpiece housed within a historic building. The architecture and interior design were a harmonious blend of old-world elegance and contemporary sophistication. The lobby was particularly stunning, with beautiful chandeliers and an impressive reception area.
From arrival, it was apparent the service at Apex Temple Court was impeccable. The staff were not only professional but also genuinely warm and welcoming. They went out of their way to make my stay as comfortable as possible, and their attention to detail was impressive. We were kindly given arrival drinks which were sent to our room, as well as assistance with luggage. As I was pregnant and unable to drink alcohol at the time, this was handled with great thoughtfulness — Apex Temple Court prepared a personalised, delicious mocktail so I didn’t feel like I missed out.
Temple Suite
The Temple Suite is one of a kind and takes luxury to a whole new level. It is the largest and most lavish room on offer, providing 115 sqm of extra special touches. The Suite is larger than your average apartment, with two grand bedrooms and an open-plan living space and kitchen. The stylish kitchen area and dining room in this chic Fleet Street space are ideal for entertaining and hosting, with a separate lounge area setting the perfect scene for cocktails. There are also two king-size beds fitted with luxuriously soft linen, a marble bathroom featuring a free-standing bathtub and underfloor heating, plus Sky Sports and Sky Movies.
Included within the Temple Suite is a fully stocked mini-bar, with wines, spirits and everything you could ever need for your stay. Additionally, guests can enjoy a full unpacking and packing service, as well as a tasty in-room continental breakfast available on request.
The little things really do matter at Apex. Be prepared to find your in-room favourites waiting on arrival — from drinks to newspapers, magazines, and fresh flowers if you’d like. You get treated like royalty.
Another lovely addition is access to the Club Lounge when you stay in the Temple Suite. This gives complimentary drinks and canapés in a private lounge, accessible at any point during your stay. Simply tap your room key on the door to gain entrance to your own private living room, complete with soft drinks, tea, coffee and alcoholic beverages.
Dining
I dined at the hotel’s restaurant, The Chambers, and the experience was extraordinary. The menu was diverse and catered to various culinary preferences. The food was not only delicious but beautifully presented.
I also had the pleasure of enjoying the in-room dining service. The culinary team at Apex took great care in ensuring that the meal was not only delicious but visually appealing. The Club Sandwich was an absolute masterpiece. The bread was toasted to perfection, providing that ideal crunch without being overly crispy. The layers of chicken, lettuce and cheese were expertly balanced, creating a harmonious blend of flavours. The generous spread of mayonnaise added a creamy richness that tied everything together, and the crispy fries were seasoned just right.
The in-room dining staff’s attention to detail and dedication to service were evident throughout. They provided all necessary condiments and utensils, making the dining experience entirely hassle-free, and checked back after the meal to ensure satisfaction before promptly clearing the dishes.
Whether you’re in the mood for a casual meal or a more elaborate dining experience, the hotel’s culinary team will undoubtedly enhance your stay.
Facilities
For fitness enthusiasts, the fitness suite is available 24 hours a day. Enjoy 24-hour access to their lifestyle fitness studio and state-of-the-art Technogym featuring treadmills, free weights, and resistance equipment.
The Chambers Bar is super stylish with its feature fireplace and oak-framed windows — the perfect backdrop for a drink in relaxing surroundings.
The two outdoor courtyards offer the perfect space to meet with friends, family, and colleagues — enjoy wining and dining al fresco, toasting to good times, or watching the biggest sporting events of the year in the sun. Kitted out with blankets and heaters for cooler months, soak up the historic Temple Court setting all year round.

Apex Temple Court exceeded my expectations in every way. It’s the kind of hotel that makes you look forward to returning at the end of a day of exploring London. Whether you’re in town for business or leisure, this hotel offers a perfect combination of comfort, luxury, and convenience. I can’t wait for my next stay.
