Breitling New-in: Limited edition Tribute to Concorde
50 Years since takeoff.
This year, we’re telling the stories of all the frontiers Breitling’s iconic pilot’s chronograph has crossed.
This chapter takes us to January 21, 1976, when Concorde ushered in the era of supersonic passenger travel. Flying at twice the speed of sound and 60,000 feet, it redefined what was possible in the skies. From that altitude, passengers could glimpse the dark blue edge of the stratosphere and even the curve of the Earth.
The Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 Tribute to Concorde honours that achievement. Its rich blue dial evokes the view from cruising altitude, while contrasting white subdials reference Concorde’s nickname, L’Oiseau Blanc (“the white bird”).
Limited to 593 pieces, it nods to the Olympus 593 turbojet engines that powered the legendary jet.
The Stories behind the icon
For over 70 years, the Navitimer has evolved from an essential pilot’s tool into a cultural influence.
This year, Navitimer Stories explores its crossover from aviation to lifestyle and technical savoir-faire, each chapter tied to a special new release.
