Weller, and Pappy Van Winkle — has opened Buffalo Trace Distillery London at 32–33 Long Acre in London’s iconic Covent Garden. This first-of-its-kind American whiskey experience marks the distillery’s first permanent brand home outside of the United States.

Buffalo Trace Distillery London invites spirits enthusiasts to taste the best of what American whiskey has to offer while introducing them to the storied history and authenticity of the third-oldest distillery in the world — and the oldest continually operating distillery in the United States. Featuring an immersive, sensorial experience that brings a taste of Kentucky to London, guests embark on a narrative journey culminating in an exclusive tasting experience at one of two inspiring bars.

Taste of the Trace — a guided tasting of three outstanding expressions from Buffalo Trace Distillery’s core lineup: Buffalo Trace Bourbon, Sazerac Rye, and Bourbon Cream, plus the option of a Buffalo and Ginger Ale cocktail sample.

Tradition & Change: Crafting the Most Awarded American Whiskey — a premium selection including White Dog Mash #1, Buffalo Trace Bourbon, Eagle Rare 10-Year-Old, E.H. Taylor Small Batch, and a small pour of a Buffalo Trace Old Fashioned. Tastings are priced depending on selection, starting at £19.99.

The Space and Retail

The 2,000-square-foot location pays homage to Buffalo Trace’s legendary bourbon craftsmanship, with special finishes and custom materials evoking the essence of the Kentucky distillery. In the retail store, guests can purchase whiskey bottles and unique merchandise — including exclusive items available only at Buffalo Trace Distillery London. Rarer whiskey offerings will also be made available during special surprise times throughout the opening months.

How to Visit

Reservations are required to secure a tasting appointment at Buffalo Trace Distillery London. Pre-booking is highly encouraged and can be arranged via Buffalo Trace Distillery. Guests also have the option of walking in and enquiring about availability in person; appointments will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis.
