Exceptional Dining at the 2 AA Rosette Restaurant

The restaurant’s menu offers a modern take on Cotswolds cuisine, using the finest locally sourced ingredients, wild meats, and kitchen-garden foraged produce. The dishes look as stunning as they taste. With three courses priced at just £45, it’s exceptional value—especially compared to city dining.

Highlights from the menu included sous vide pig’s cheek with ham hock bonbon, burnt apple purée, tomato, and swede chutney—melt-in-the-mouth perfection. This was followed by a tantalising duck main with smooth, delicate sauces.

Dessert was a cornflake panna cotta with strawberry consommé, meringue, and maple syrup ice cream—perfectly complemented by Moscato d’Asti (highly recommended), where the flavours meld beautifully.

By far my favourite discovery was the Burleigh Court honey—absolutely incredible! I would have bought several jars had they not sold out.

The wine selection is a great addition from sustainability-conscious Burleigh Court, which reduces its carbon footprint by limiting non-European suppliers and prioritising smaller, boutique producers, including organic, biodynamic, and vegan options.
