This festive season, for a taste of a Spanish Christmas filled with flavour, flair and neighbourhood spirit, El Pirata invites guests to gather loved ones for a festive tapas feast designed for sharing. Put together by Executive Head Chef and rising star Chaxi Guinzo, the exclusive Christmas Party menu is complemented by El Pirata’s renowned and celebrated wine list.

This season, the decadent Christmas Party menu begins with Jamón Ibérico 100% 5J Bellota — Spain’s prized acorn-fed ham — alongside Padrón peppers from Galicia, Pan con tomate y ajo and indulgent ham croquettes. Dishes of fried cod cheeks with lemon alioli and slow-cooked lamb shoulder take centre stage, complemented by roasted cauliflower with romesco sauce and, of course, patatas bravas. To finish, guests can enjoy churros and turrones for a sweet taste of Spanish tradition.

Meanwhile, highlights on the Vegetarian Menu include grilled asparagus with Manchego sauce and roasted almonds, and roasted sweet potato with goat’s cheese, alongside comforting dishes such as grilled artichokes, fried aubergine with honey and Cabrales cheese, and the much-loved spinach and Payoyo croquettes — adding a creamy, savoury note just before dessert.

Able to accommodate up to 70 people for a Christmas party in the cosy wine cellar, whilst equally ideal for intimate dinners, team gatherings or a full restaurant takeover, El Pirata offers the perfect setting this festive season — all just a short walk from Green Park tube station and the heart of Mayfair.
