Chai Wu – Luxury Dining at Harrods
Chai Wu, the authentic high-end Chinese restaurant located within Harrods has put together a selection of stunning, colourful celebratory specials to mark the Year of the Rabbit, including beautiful fish and rabbit shaped dumplings and a fortune and prosperity-bringing Lo Hei salad.
Chai Wu’s special Chinese New Year selection will be available from 16th January to 5th February and spotlights a range of beautifully presented traditional dishes with a contemporary twist. The festive menu features three starters including the Year of the Rabbit Dumplings – Rabbit shaped dumplings filled with wild mushrooms and black truffle and the Gold Fish Dumplings – Steamed gold fish shaped dumplings filled with sea bass, prawns and black pepper sauce. For mains, there will be three exclusive new dishes – a Baked Halibut with black beans and picked tomatoes, Grilled Scallop topped with XO sauce and a traditional Lo Hei – a Chinese, fortune and prosperity-bringing sesame salad with fresh salmon, topped with gold leaf and shredded vegetables and drizzled with sweet and sour plum sauce. There is also an exclusive dessert, a Chinese New Year Parfait made with white sesame seed and mango.
