Chai Wu’s Spectacular Chinese New Year Menu
Chai Wu, the authentic high-end Chinese restaurant located within Harrods, has curated a selection of stunning, colourful celebratory specials to mark the Year of the Rabbit. These include beautiful fish- and rabbit-shaped dumplings and a fortune- and prosperity-bringing Lo Hei salad.
Chai Wu’s special Chinese New Year selection is available from 16th January to 5th February and spotlights a range of beautifully presented traditional dishes with a contemporary twist.
Starters
The festive menu features three starters, including the Year of the Rabbit Dumplings – rabbit-shaped dumplings filled with wild mushrooms and black truffle – and the Gold Fish Dumplings – steamed goldfish-shaped dumplings filled with sea bass, prawns, and black pepper sauce.
Mains
For mains, there are three exclusive new dishes: Baked Halibut with black beans and pickled tomatoes, Grilled Scallop topped with XO sauce, and a traditional Lo Hei – a Chinese sesame oil salad with fresh salmon, topped with gold leaf and shredded vegetables, drizzled with sweet and sour plum sauce.
Dessert
An exclusive dessert rounds off the menu: the Chinese New Year Parfait made with white sesame seeds and mango.
