There are very few times when you leave a medical appointment thinking, “Wow, that was an experience.” My treatment with Jonathan Dunne was exactly that.

From the moment I walked into the clinic, I was completely blown away. It is quite possibly the most chic clinic I have ever been to, sophisticated, beautifully designed and effortlessly luxurious, like an Italian palace,  yet discreet and welcoming. It feels a world away from a traditional medical environment.

I went to see Jonathan for earlobe repair and lip filler, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Jonathan is kind, incredibly understanding and has that rare ability to listen and somehow just “get” you. The appointment was just so easy and relaxed, not rushed. He understood exactly what I wanted and, more importantly, what I didn’t want.

And the treatment itself? Completely painless. I was genuinely amazed.

The results have been absolutely incredible. My earlobe repair is beautifully repaired, and my lip filler is exactly what I hoped for: a little tweak to the vermilion border, rather than any plumping, giving a subtle and incredibly natural look. I simply look a little fresher and more polished. Jonathan has an exceptional eye for detail and a real understanding of facial balance. My earlobe looks completely repaired just three weeks following this procedure, but I’ve been advised to wait 12 weeks before I have it repierced, by which time it will be completely healed.

What also gave me enormous confidence was Jonathan’s background and reputation as a plastic and reconstructive surgeon. He is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon and Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, with a particularly impressive career spanning complex reconstructive surgery as well as aesthetic work. His NHS work is especially inspiring, including his role at Imperial and his involvement in complex facial reconstruction. His expertise is clearly built on years of serious surgical experience, rather than aesthetics being his only focus.

And yet, despite all those credentials, what struck me most was how genuinely lovely he is as a person. There is a warmth about him that you don’t always encounter at this level. He is incredibly reassuring,  and clearly passionate about what he does.

For me, that combination is extraordinary: world-class surgical expertise, an exceptional aesthetic eye, and genuine kindness.

I left feeling not only thrilled with my results, but incredibly pleased that I had chosen Jonathan. He is, without question, a truly inspirational surgeon, and I would recommend him wholeheartedly to anyone looking for someone who combines expertise, artistry and humanity.

A genuinely exceptional experience from beginning to end, and results I absolutely adore.
