The platform has been shaped by more than four decades of experience in interior architecture, bespoke cabinetry and residential design. Its roots date back to 1984, when the family business began in a small British workshop crafting bespoke cabinetry for private clients.

As the business evolved into full interior architecture and design, the team found that furniture, lighting and objects with the right balance of craftsmanship, proportion, material quality and service were harder to find than they should have been. Everything But Ordinary was created in response: a curated destination for luxury furniture and lighting, shaped by the same values that have guided the studio for more than 40 years.

Now part of a second-generation family business, Everything But Ordinary brings together modern European designer furniture, contemporary lighting and distinctive objects chosen with the same care that would be brought to a complete interior scheme.
