Fairfax & Favor was founded by childhood friends Marcus Fairfax Fountaine and Felix Favor Parker in 2013. Ten years on, Fairfax & Favor is now a sought-after brand with a multi-million-pound turnover.

The brand was born from a passion for creating the highest quality and fit-for-performance footwear for rural life with a stylish design, setting itself apart from all other boots and shoes for those living in the countryside. In recent seasons, the brand’s collections have expanded and grown to include a range of versatile footwear that can be worn far beyond the country, finding a home comfortably in the town too.

Rural Heritage Meets Timeless Style

The brand celebrates its rural heritage in everything that it produces, designing with both town and country in mind for anyone with a passion for style and adventure. Fairfax & Favor doesn’t follow trends; they make timeless classics, and each quality piece is destined to work hard, suit their loyal customers’ lifestyle and live forever in their wardrobe. Every piece in their seasonal collections is designed and developed in the heart of the Norfolk countryside and is the epitome of rural vogue.

The brand celebrates British culture and heritage, with equestrian influences weaving through designs. Fairfax & Favor’s signature style brings together practicality, comfort and style combined with design features including the renowned interchangeable tassel – a firm favourite with their customers. The brand’s core ladies’ boot range also offers three calf fittings: Narrow, Standard and Sporting, and are available in sizes UK 3-9.

Expansion into Outerwear and New Markets

Fairfax & Favor’s strategic move in expanding the markets in which they appeal began in 2022 with the launch of their outerwear collection, allowing customers to not only purchase footwear and accessories but coats, jackets and capes for a full head-to-toe outfit. Their collection has expanded throughout 2023 with a wider range of outerwear pieces that have been designed to pair perfectly with the accessories the brand is best known for, to create a full Fairfax & Favor attire for strutting into the new year in style.

Impressive Growth and Flagship Stores

The brand has experienced considerable growth over the last few years, most notably in 2020 when the country went into lockdown and many businesses suffered; they experienced over 175% growth on the previous year. During this period the brand also opened its first flagship store in Holt, Norfolk. Since 2021 Fairfax & Favor have also opened a further five stores in the UK including Stamford, Helmsley, Stow-on-the-Wold, Marlow and most recently, Bakewell in December 2023. During the decline in brick-and-mortar retail, the brand has seen unprecedented growth and success in each store with one-to-one styling appointments being fully booked almost every day.
