Hotel nhow London blending punk and high-tech styles to unique effect

It’s actually quite hard to describe Hotel nhow London, but I’ll try, it’s an eclectic mix of weird, wacky, arty, contemporary, colourful, and fun, featuring wonky artifacts. The furnishings are bright, velvety, and stylish, in a crazy kind of way.

nhow London is in an excellent location,  just minutes from the Silicon Roundabout, the technology center of the Old Street area, and near the City of London. Other points of interest nearby include Big Ben and the London Eye. The hotel is very well connected to the rest of the city thanks to the nearby Farringdon station.

The reception, bar, and dining areas are all joy on the senses, there’s so much to see and is an Instagrammers delight.

We checked into our luxury Penthouse Suite on the 8th floor, it was vast. It included a great bedroom and luxury bathroom with a rain-effect shower, a comfy lounge area with a desk and dining table, we had two large televisions, tea and coffee-making facilities, a mini fridge, free wifi and everything to ensure your stay is perfect.

Although all of the rooms and suites are individually designed they all feature a blend of punk and high-tech styles. Most rooms offer a view over the hotel’s courtyard or the city outside. We found the hotel to be quiet and relaxing with a true laid-back vibe.

The hotel serves great cocktails and has a superb wine list, as well as a great menu. Try a cocktail or glass of something bubbly maybe at the bright, modern bar. The bar also features DJ nights at weekends. The contemporary British pub restaurant and bar is an avant-garde dining concept with a unique design. It features gold bell lights, as well as ever-changing LED images which appear on its central pillar, while tables highlight London’s Cockney rhyming slang.

If you’re feeling energetic there is a state-of-the-art gym situated on the lower ground floor, it is equipped with a full complement of cardiovascular exercise machines and open open 24 hours. There are treadmills, stationary bikes, elliptical machines and weights, and complimentary towels and water is provided.

Breakfast was a sight to behold as well as totally delicious, with a huge choice of everything continental, hot choices, yogurts, juices, smoothies, waffles, fruit and muffins on a big wheel. We enjoyed some freshly baked pastries, a lovely selection of croissants, with honey, some fresh fruit and a latte, we were well set up for the day.
