With over three decades of experience, his precision, patience and purity of craft define every Indri expression. Widely regarded as a pioneer of India’s premium spirits movement, Kumar has helped reshape global perceptions of Indian whisky.
Indri’s core range expressions are ideal for Indian whisky-curious dads, from the first-time explorer to the seasoned collector alike.
For their first Indian single malt whisky – Indri Trini, 70cl, 46% ABV, £45
Indri-Trini, the flagship expression of Indri, has become a catalyst in the Indian single malt revolution. Launched in 2022, it is India’s first and most awarded triple cask single malt whisky, marking a defining moment in the country’s premium single malt landscape. Crafted using Indian non-GMO six-row barley, the whisky is matured in ex-bourbon barrels, ex-French wine casks and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, each contributing layers of complexity and depth.
Indri-Trini is the fastest-growing Indian single malt in the world. Forming part of Indri’s core range, it makes for a perfect Father’s Day gift and is an ideal introduction to Indian single malts.

For the whisky explorer – Indri Agneya, 70cl, 46% ABV, £50
Indri Agneya is a lightly peated Indian single malt whisky from the Indri portfolio, with a name that comes from a Sanskrit word meaning “belonging to fire”, hinting at the spirit’s smoky character. Matured in both American oak ex-bourbon and Pedro Ximénez sherry oak casks, it has a complex profile with notes of ripe fruit, spice and gentle peat smoke balanced by vanilla, toffee and tropical fruit. Distinct from the flagship Indri-Trini, Agneya brings a bold yet elegant depth to Indian single malts, making it a thoughtful Father’s Day gift, perfect for slow, contemplative sipping and meaningful moments.
