Luxuria Reviews a Family Stay at No.15 GuestHouse Bath

There is something incredibly special about finding a hotel that manages to feel both wonderfully luxurious and genuinely welcoming for families, and No.15 GuestHouse in Bath does exactly that.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear this wasn’t your typical city hotel. The warm welcome from the reception team immediately set the tone for our stay, with friendly staff personally showing us to our room and making sure we had everything we needed for our visit. Throughout our stay, the team couldn’t do enough for us, with the food and beverage staff in particular providing exceptional service and attention to detail.

Our room was simply stunning. Spacious, beautifully designed and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay, it perfectly felt like boutique luxury with thoughtful touches that made it feel incredibly personal. Waiting for us on arrival was a bottle of champagne chilling on the table, a lovely surprise that instantly enhanced the experience.

However, the biggest excitement came from our two-and-a-half-year-old son, who discovered a little teepee waiting for him in the room, complete with toys to enjoy throughout our stay. It was such a thoughtful addition and instantly made him feel like the room had been designed just for him. Watching his face light up as he explored his own little corner of the room was one of those moments that makes a family getaway so memorable.

One of our favourite discoveries during the stay was the guest pantry located just along the corridor from our room. Guests are invited to help themselves to refreshments throughout the day, alongside freshly baked cookies, ice cream, sweets and even popcorn. It felt like uncovering a hidden treasure and added such a playful, indulgent touch to the experience. For families or couples planning a cosy evening in, it was absolutely perfect.

The hotel itself is breathtaking. Set within a beautiful Georgian townhouse, No.15 GuestHouse effortlessly combines stunning period architecture with contemporary interiors and stylish design touches. Original features sit comfortably alongside modern furnishings, creating spaces that feel elegant, characterful and incredibly inviting. Every corner of the hotel feels thoughtfully curated, with something new to admire around every turn.

One of the biggest surprises was simply the scale of the property. From the outside, it appears charming and intimate, but inside the hotel unfolds into a much larger space than expected, with beautiful areas, hidden corners and plenty to explore.

Downstairs, guests will find a gorgeous spa offering the perfect opportunity to unwind after a day spent exploring the city. Calm, relaxing and beautifully designed, it provides a peaceful retreat from the bustle of Bath’s busy streets.

For those travelling by car, the availability of on-site parking is another huge advantage and a rarity in such a central location.

The following morning, breakfast was every bit as impressive as the rest of our stay. Freshly prepared and cooked to order, every dish was brought directly to the table and served with the same warmth and attention we had experienced throughout our visit.

Location-wise, it simply couldn’t be better. Situated right in the heart of Bath, the hotel is perfectly positioned within walking distance of the city’s bars, restaurants, independent boutiques and famous attractions, making it an ideal base for exploring everything this beautiful city has to offer.

No.15 GuestHouse manages to strike that difficult balance between luxury boutique hotel, family-friendly escape and stylish city retreat. Thoughtful touches, exceptional service and beautiful surroundings combine to create a stay that feels genuinely memorable from beginning to end.
For anyone looking for a sophisticated stay in Bath with plenty of personality, this boutique gem is difficult to beat.
