Ten Years in the Making

Celebrating a decade of distilling in 2023, Yorkshire’s first gin, Masons of Yorkshire, continues to delight with its range of award-winning spirits in delectable flavours. To coincide with ten years in the business, Masons of Yorkshire is debuting its most adventurous gin yet: 10 years in the making, and hundreds of recipe iterations and tastings later. The creator of the Masons Original Gin, Distiller Gerard Macluskey (formerly of Gordon’s London Dry Gin and Tanqueray), came on board to help bring this tasty gin to fruition, working alongside current Lead Distiller Rory Payne to create something exceptional.

Tasting Notes

This London Dry Gin offers steady, ripe banana on the nose, with mellow citrus notes of grapefruit and orange building throughout. Vibrant mango and crisp pineapple flood the palate, flourishing into sweet banana offset by a whisper of passionfruit and light juniper. The finish is long and dry with juicy tropical fruits. Be transported to sun-drenched beaches, cool summer breezes, and lazy days the moment you take a sip.

A Tropical Twist for Yorkshire

Yorkshire is renowned for its stunning scenery, luxury hotels, and world-class foodie scene. Now Masons is putting Yorkshire on the map as a go-to destination for delicious hand-crafted distilled spirits too. The award-winning Masons of Yorkshire Visitors Centre is open to the public for distillery tours and glamorous cocktail evenings.

“It has been our dream to bring some tropical flair to Yorkshire for a while. It has taken almost ten years and hundreds of recipe iterations to distill these incredible fruits to perfection. We’ve finally cracked it, and the resulting gin is delicious, perfect for celebrations, and the essence of long summer days. For the perfect G&T, Masons of Yorkshire recommend serving with plenty of ice and premium Indian tonic water. Garnish with frozen pineapple for a tropical summery taste, or fresh mango for a drier profile.
