Eleven sumptuous en-suite bedrooms are complemented by two distinctive master suites, each featuring a four-poster bed and statement copper bath.

But it is outdoors where Monboddo’s setting truly comes alive.

The Wellness Terrace has been created as a destination in its own right, with two eight-person hot tubs, a panoramic sauna, outdoor shower, fire-pit lounge and dining area. Framed by spectacular views across Loch Ness, it is the perfect place to begin the day slowly, retreat into the warmth of the sauna or gather beneath the Highland sky as evening falls.

Inside, the Dining Conservatory brings the landscape into the heart of the lodge. Two banquet tables overlook the terrace and Loch, creating an elegant setting for long breakfasts, private dinners and drinks receptions. A dedicated wet bar and coffee station make hosting effortless, while the generous kitchen is perfectly suited to a private chef or exceptional outside catering.

And then there is The Snug — Monboddo’s intimate private speakeasy. With doors opening directly onto the terrace, it provides the perfect setting for a dram of whisky, a martini or simply lingering conversation long after dinner.

Every element of Monboddo has been conceived to encourage togetherness without compromising on privacy. Guests can gather around the dining table, unwind in the hot tubs, share a drink in the Snug or simply disappear for a while and take in the view.

The lodge can also be tailored to the rhythm of its guests, with optional daily housekeeping, private car service and chef arrangements available throughout a stay provided by our partners.
