New Sea Scooter More Powerful Than a Porsche 911 Carrera T
iAQUA has created a new sea scooter that is more powerful than a Porsche 911 Carrera T for the ultimate sea adventure.
The water toy manufacturer is committed to revolutionising technology in the underwater world and says the Nano 720 Xtreme surpasses all competitors.
A Porsche 911 Carrera T supercar boasts an impressive 380 BHP, weighs 1,600 kilograms and has an impressive 0-60 time of just 3.8 seconds.
This, in power-to-weight terms, is equally impressive at 0.177 kW/kg.
The iAQUA Nano 720 Xtreme weighs just 22 kilograms and boasts 4.7 kW of power, giving it a Porsche-beating power-to-weight ratio of 0.217 kW/kg.
iAQUA said: “Once you have satisfied your land-based thrills, you might want to consider diving beneath the waves with the new iAQUA Nano 720 Xtreme.
“The beautifully designed, all carbon-fibre Nano 720 Xtreme is both strong and lightweight. It boasts the world’s No. 1 power-to-weight ratio of any dive scooter by a long way.
“Testament to the skills of iAQUA’s engineers and its cutting-edge design, it’s also nearly 50% lighter than our nearest competitor.”
Boasting dual-jet technology, the iAQUA Nano 720 Xtreme can propel divers through the water at 24 kph in under three seconds.
Like the Porsche 911, each Nano 720 Xtreme model features high-powered lights and a screen displaying the battery level, speed, and depth. The safety depth is programmable from two to 45 metres and has a run time of 160 minutes.
So, if land-based thrills are your thing, look no further than the Porsche, but if you feel you need a bigger thrill, the new Nano has it all.
