Palm Beaches, The New Wellness Hotspot

For years, I’ve believed in the power of visualisation, manifestation and the law of attraction. How this trip came to fruition amazes me, and I’ll tell you why. I regularly use vision boards to help create my goals and intentions to help motivate and inspire me. I recently gathered around 20 images which inspired me and set them as my phone background so that I see them daily, visually showing what I’d like to attract into my life. Amongst the quotes and places that inspired me, I saved a cute outfit for styling inspiration, the cutest green and pastel-pink sun loungers for their dopamine decor aesthetic and a series of Assouline coffee table books.

When I received the email about a press trip to Palm Beach, after researching the hotels, I thought one of the hotels looked familiar. Not only did the sun loungers resemble those at The Colony Hotel, but the girl’s t-shirt in the photo read ‘Palm Beaches’, and the first Assouline coffee table book read ‘Palm Beach’. If that doesn’t scream manifestation, how do you explain that out of the five of us who attended the trip, somehow, it was only my room with the Palm Beach coffee table in the suite?

The Colony Hotel – One foot in the sand and one foot on Worth Avenue

I am so happy my Pinterest board came to life because The Colony Hotel is even more beautiful in real life. If I could describe this hotel in three words, it would be expensive, fabulous and alluring!

The outside of the hotel reminds me of a cupcake; the walls are pale pink with what looks like white frosting around the edges. Surrounding the pink paradise are enormous palm trees, grassy green perfectly mowed lawns, and the bushes look like they’ve had a haircut by a celebrity stylist. Alongside the entrance are the endearing baby pink and white Colony bicycles with brown wicker baskets on the front so you can ride around Palm Beach in style! I had a twinkle in my eyes walking through the entrance; everything was so enchanting. Fairy lights surrounded the reception area, an abundance of pink everywhere you looked, and the most beautifully decorated Christmas tree took pride in the corner. Palm Beaches do Christmas trees better than anywhere I’ve ever seen, and that’s a fact!

Junior Suite

I was impressed by how spacious the suite was; it had a king-sized bed and was one of the comfiest beds I have ever slept in. The sheets and the duvet were silky soft, and the pillows felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. In colour psychology, using lighter shades of blue in bedrooms can create feelings of inner peace and calm, making the space feel safe and relaxing.

We couldn’t resist having a girly in-room photo shoot; the rooms were too cute not to share on social media, so we jumped straight into our Matouk Robes and staged some content to remember our time at the Colony!

The standout features were:

Matouk robes and slippers
On-demand movies and music
Dyson hair dryer and straightener
Custom Postcards
Custom full-size amenities featuring Pink Paradise No. 155 scent
Complimentary tote bag for use during your stay

Breakfast

The Pink Paradise is an intimate cafe with a grab-and-go style service where they make the most elite iced lattes I’ve ever tried! It’s open from 7 am-7 pm and sells a range of breakfast and brunch options. You can choose from breakfast burritos, truffle egg salads, pineapple and mango overnight oats topped with toasted coconut, Gluten-free brownies and fresh fruit cups! They also have a gift section where you can splurge on The Colony Hotel memorabilia to take home. You can get your hands on exclusive mulberry silk pyjamas, a Johnnie Brown float, The Colony Hotel dog bowl and super stylish Vilebrequin swim trunks.

Swifty’s
Breakfast at Swifty’s

Swifty’s serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch. We had breakfast here one morning while enjoying the view of the sun loungers that I had saved on my board. It was a moment of complete manifestation! After another dream ice latte and a delicious Crushed Avocado toast, one of the girls and I created some poolside content to act as a memento of manifesting my Pinterest board into a real-life memory!

Dinner at Swifty’s

What a memorable dinner! This restaurant is iconic for many reasons, and it was such an honour to dine here for our first evening meal. We dined al fresco on a huge round table with the gorgeous pool and twinkling fairy lights setting the scene. The roof was adorned with a hanging garden of white flowers and grand chandeliers, creating a romantic and chic atmosphere.

This dinner was so special for many reasons; it was the first meal we all shared as a group led by Veronica and Sophie, and we got to hear so much insight about The famous Colony Hotel and some history behind Palm Beaches whilst we enjoyed what felt like a banquet! The menu was overwhelming (in a good way), and after a ten-hour flight, everything was jumping off the page at me!

For table sharers, we enjoyed:

Cheese and Charcuterie board
Crushed Avocado with tortilla chips (GF option available too)
Tuna Tartare
Salt and Pepper Calamari

For mains, I’m sure if I handed any of my friends the menu and said what do you think I would choose they’d all have chosen the Dolce & Gabbana Pasta! The name alone was half the reason I chose it, and pasta, who doesn’t want to indulge in a creamy tomato basil and parmesan pasta with added shrimp and truffle?! It was by far one of my favourite meals of the trip; the service was exceptional, the inclusivity of those who are celiac was extensive, and I cannot forget to mention the star of the show, The Spicy Socialite Margarita cocktails!

Worth Avenue

I can’t explain the feeling I had when I stepped out onto one of the most luxurious shopping districts in the world; this was the most in-awe moment of the trip. I felt like I was picked up and put onto a movie set; it was the most surreal experience and a special memory I’ll have forever. Everyone is walking around in the Palm Beach dress code, smart and sophisticatedly dressed; there are rows of lavish cars, boutiques and designer stores, not to mention the abundance of cute dog breeds walking with their owners.

The Breakers brunch

Every Sunday morning, The Breakers transform the grand circle room into a show-stopping Sunday best brunch experience, one not to be missed. Think Belgian waffles, Maine lobster, oysters and more than 30 delicious desserts; a favourite for foodies!

PART 2

The Boca Raton

The brand new pink Boca Raton tower has 224 spacious rooms and suites with views of the Atlantic Ocean and South Florida coastline. I screeched when I entered my room; the bathroom made me feel like an ant; it was HUGE! With luxury Molton Brown products, cosy robes with matching slippers and a giant walk-in shower, it was up there with one of my favourite hotel bathrooms. The room was spacious; it had a separate living area and breathtaking ocean views, making it an ideal spot to catch the sunrise.

The Boca Raton pool area features a 450-foot lazy river surrounded by luxury cabanas and tropical palm trees, creating a stunning oasis. A personalised butler and a pool bar serving light bites and cocktails with breathtaking sea views. Not to forget the two exhilarating 5-story water slides. They also have a FlowRider, a 40-foot-long-wave-shaped attraction that simulates a continuous wave, perfect for boarding or surfing.

Spa Palmera

We had a luxurious ritual bath experience with a rose petal bubble bath, face masks, ice cream, and herbal tea; it was pure bliss. I think that we could all agree that our spa experience was one of the highlights of our trip and was hands down the best spa day I’ve ever had! This stunning spa has been awarded five stars by Forbes two years in a row and has been named Florida’s Best resort spa! This one-of-a-kind spa has 44 treatment rooms, a beautiful courtyard, waterfall whirlpools and a private spa pool. A must if you ever visit Boca Raton!

Japanese Bocce Club

This has to be my favourite meal of the week; Japanese cuisine is always a winner; this cosy restaurant had warm ambient lighting, a relaxed atmosphere, impeccable-tasting cocktails and even tastier food! The Wagyu steak melted in your mouth with the most delicious flavours; I was in food heaven! I love ordering dishes to share between the tables as it makes for great conversation and feels more wholesome.

Sadelle’s

We dined here for breakfast, and when I said it was a breakfast of dreams, I meant it. We had an actual breakfast feast, ‘all everything’ bagels with fresh salmon and cream cheese, hashbrowns, fruit platters, you name it, we ordered it!

IPIC Theatres

On our last day, we went to an IPIC Theatre to go and watch the new Salt Burn Movie; this was such a surreal experience; we got to order American-style food straight to our seats and cosied up with blankets and recliners chairs; it was so memorable!

Town Centre at Boca Raton

You can’t visit Palm Beach without shopping; it’s the rules! We were so excited to hit the stores that we visited all the hotspots! We went to the famous Bloomingdales, Macy’s, and Sephora and shopped till we dropped. I was blown away by the sheer size of the malls! So many stores to choose from, and we had an absolute blast exploring them.

During our stay, we had an amazing experience in Palm Beach, thanks to the great team that made sure we got to experience the best of what the place had to offer. It was a memorable time, and I would love to go back and explore more of what Palm Beach has in store! I would like to personally thank Milton, Veronica, Sophie, Elena, and Olivia for making this trip one of the most unforgettable, seamless, and enjoyable ones to date.
